Located in Burns, a 8-minute walk from Burns, OYO Silver Spur Burns Hwy 20 has air-conditioned accommodations and a garden. This is not a new or fancy place, but the room was quite attractive. We especially liked the L shape of our room. Instead of two beds side-by-side, one was in once part of the L and the other in the other part. Thus, our 18 year old grandson was still in the room with us, but had his own 'space'. The AC and heater units were small but worked well. Everything was clean, the beds comfortable. We were going to arrive late, so we got a call that told us how to checkin on our own. Very satisfied with all parts of this experience.
Motel was old and run down they say they were doing remo mod did not see any of that in my room got there late after 9 PM left at 10 AM as soon as I could head to get back on the road curtains were see-through the air-conditioning was in the back of the room and it was a 110 unit the door to the unit could’ve been reinforced other than that it was a good place to put your head down and get the hell out
Pleasant town and there is some good eating establishments there. Gas is expensive though. The Crystal Crane Hotsprings resort is worth going to. There are a lot of interesting things to do in this area.
Burns, over all...sucks. There's nowhere to eat there that's any good at all, except there is a McDonalds. We've been through there many times and we have never had a good experience there. We get gas there now and that's it.
One of the cleanest motels ever. Even with covid it had the best variety of foods of anywhere we have stayed. Lots of protein and fruit choices. Entry of hiway a little tricky but easy to find with gps.
A peaceful, friendly city in SE Oregon. I had not been in Burns for years. The drive from Ontario west to Burns was filled with a lot of great views of differing topography. The drive west to Bend was just as interesting, gave us a chance to enjoy a part of Oregon we've not seen in a very long time. We even saw deer walking through town when we went out to eat! Not something we see here in the Portland metro area!
Burns is a small and quiet community. The citizens here are friendly and welcoming. Lodging is good and the food is too. They have a Starbucks in the Safeway if you are so inclined. This is an awesome Way point in any trip going through here.
Booking was an issue, but the wonderful woman at the hotel handled it beautifully! Lena was great! As was Beverley at the booking place.
Pet friendly, room clean
