United Stateslocation was good. The Breakfast was good. I liked the pool. The outdoor sitting areas around the pool was very nice. Our room was very clean. The entire hotel was very clean. That is something that is really appreciated. No stale odors. The hotel staff seems on top of things. The front desk clerk was a very friendly and very helpful lady. I do not remember her name, unfortunately, as I would have like to mention her specific name to compliment her upon our stay there. I will say she is a very pleasant African American lady, I'm guessing in her 30's to 40's. She checked us in that Saturday afternoon, August 26th and checked us out Sunday morning the 27th. She literally could not have been more helpful. Please give her my compliments! With me was my 91 year old mother. We had come down from Atlanta, Georgia to visit a terminally ill relative that was in the Specialty Hospital at the Villages. It was a sad visit and an emotional time. The cleanliness of the hotel, the amenities and the friendly staff members made the stay part of it very comforting. We really do appreciate all of the hard work your staff puts into the hotel. It is much appreciated. I felt we got a very good value for our money. Thank you all!

There's not much to do in Bushnell, we were visiting long lost relatives and had a great time, it's a quiet town, seems as if the truck stop is the biggest thing there, visit the county swap meet, other than that, only the swamp boat tours are there.

Those seeking a vibrant social scene or "happy hour" culture will find options here quite limited. Most local "mom and pop" establishments conclude service by 2:00 PM, leaving only four primary restaurants in operation; of these, two are national chains, and one does not serve alcohol. The remaining dining landscape consists of five fast-food outlets and a single coffee franchise.
Retail opportunities are equally sparse; aside from Cato, the area lacks dedicated clothing stores, though it is served by a Walmart Supercenter, an Aldi supermarket, and a few local thrift shops. The town’s primary points of interest include the Bushnell Station & Gulf Coast & Central Florida Railroad Museum—which features interactive activities and train rides on Saturdays— the Dade Battlefield Historic State Park, which offers a visitor center, museum, and recreational facilities, and the Bushnell Motorsports Park, which offers a track for racing go-karts and motorcycles.

I booked my room on booking.com for 3-16-2024 and paid for it. I received my confirmation , a couple of days later I called the hotel Mircotel Bushnell and added another day which was Friday 3-15, I didn’t pay for that day until I got there we checked in on Friday, I paid the representative he got my information he copied my ID and got make, model of my car, everything was fiine, on Saturday morning we was given more towels before we left the room, when we got back that afternoon your shift has changed, when me and my children enter the hotel lobby, Rickey asked me what room were we in I told him 204, my daughter was already on the elevator she went up to the room and the key was not working, she came back down, he said it’s not working because he deactivated it because he needed to get another copy of my ID and a card to have on file, I told him I’m the same person, the customer service person had gotten that information, he said he needed to see if again, because he was not here, I asked do he check every person ID when they leave and come back, I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN, and yes I am BLACK

My room was large (Deluxe Queen) and beautiful.
My room was large (Deluxe Queen) and beautiful. It had a refrigerator with a top freezer and built in microwave in the center isle. I loved the center isle with a counter that divided the bedroom from the living area.
Shower head was wonderful! Had great power.
Unfortunately the room I had must have had a cat staying with owners that sprayed. The staff were very responsive when I alerted them and sprayed a neutralizer and actually shampooed the carpet while I was away during the day.
Breakfast was adequate but not as good as some places I have stayed.
Overall, I would stay here again.

This hotel is an abomination. The first room they gave me smelled like a basement. I asked for another room. That smelled like a cat urine. The third room I asked for smelled even more like cat urine. We left.
