Located in Cambria, a few steps from Moonstone Beach, Cambria Shores Inn provides accommodations with a garden and free private parking. There isn’t a thing about Cambria Shores in that we don’t love. This is about our 10th stay there…. And we will be back of course. It was our little getaway from Santa Barbara. There’s no reason to get away from Santa Barbara unless it’s the Cambria Shores Inn.Nothing could’ve been better except I like almost green bananas and the banana was ripe… And the breakfast just the way anybody else would like it. So I don’t have one thing to possibly complain about… I love everything about Cambria Shores Inn.

So convenient after a nice walk on the moonstone beach boardwalk which the hotel is located directly at it’s starting point! The staff is very friendly and helpful, underground parking, electric car charging stations and easy elevator access and beach cruiser bikes for guest use. We walked passed this property on a previous stay and it was so inviting from the outside we wanted to stay on our next visit to Cambria and we are so happy we did!

Cambria is a beautiful destination. The view at Moonstone Beach at sunset is awesome! The people there are very friendly. It’s the second time we’ve stayed in Cambria, and has yet to disappoint! The first time we stayed there was several years ago. It was mid December and it was such a nice place to wander around all the shops and dining during the Holiday season, especially at night! It just felt like you were walking around in a little town that resembled a Thomas Kinkade painting. We will definitely be back!
adorable main street, decent restaurants (Main Street Grill is really affordable and family friendly; Linn’s pie is heavenly), cute shops (Stamps on Main was wonderful, as was a little art gallery whose name I forget). It’s only about 30 minutes from Paso, and we spent a very happy lunchtime tasting wines at Opolo up Rt 46 (?). Spectacular.
Cambria is a charming coastal town with lots to do. From watching elephant seals to the north, to tasting wines to the east, shopping and restaurants in town....it has something for everyone. It's a great place to ride bikes as well. The beach walkway is truly magnificent. It's very accessible and picturesque.
Highlights for us: Moonstone Beach Boardwalk, Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and the 30 minute drive to Paso Rpb;es for wine tastings. No fast food eateries and nice small eateries in quaint Cambria; we loved dining at Madeline's and the fact that most places are pet-friendly.
Cambria is a relaxing and charming seaside village close to SLO and Paso Robles. We had a fantastic Dinner at Robin's. A small house restaurant with beautiful gardens and outdoor space and a fantastic menu. We went to a local vineyard in a small town called Harmony. They had fabulous grounds overlooking everything in the area and so much outdoor seating. Thank you
Cambria is a small town with very friendly people. Not much to do in the evening but we found a pub with karaoke that was really fun. The food was good overall. The scarecrow festival in the month of October is a fun time to go.
Wonderful place to stay. Attractive traditional house with lovely garden. Bedroom very comfortable and nice bathroom. Nice toiletries. Coffee maker in room. Staff wonderful- they couldn't do enough to help. Spared the prohibitions and cautions of some previous hotels. Enjoyable breakfast, pleasantly served at tables with linen. Great Hour of Happiness with good wine and delicious snacks. A great opportunity to meet the other interesting and mannerly guests. Handy for the small town and pleasant walk to the sea.
We stayed one night on our way to Napa valley. The manager was very kind to give us a corner room with partial view of the ocean. The room is clean, spacious and has supply of basic toiletries. This location is close to restaurants, downtown and next to moonstone beach. Parking is adequate. Across the hotel you can enjoy a walk with ocean view. It’s windy and cold so make sure to dress warm.
I think the Location, Restaurant and Staff are the more positive things about this hotel. Room was very dated and pretty dirty (corners of the room and beds) also had a family of ants greeting us on the table as we walked in. For the price I was hoping to at least get a complimentary breakfast. I don’t usually leave reviews but I was a little bummed on this booking .
Cambria
Nice hotel - right by the shore and a good sized pool. Rooms not huge but very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Overpriced really for what it is - but no different to anywhere else in Cambria. Great for shore walks and plenty of dining options in town. We used it as a base for Hearst Castle visit.
Loved how big the room was, the bed was comfortable, the fireplace was an amazing feature, but our favorite thing was the view! I will definitely be returning to this hotel when in the cambria area again :)
Cambria
It was nice, but most importantly, the boardwalk to Moonstone Beach is right across the street. That was a wonderful thing. If I were again in the area, I would most likely choose that hotel again
Cambria
The beds were amazing. My friend and I have never slept better. Location was amazing. Literally a 2 min drive to Moonstone beach and restaurants were everywhere. Cute hotel and very nice rooms.
The location of this hotel is great but don’t go there if you don’t like dogs. It seems it is a place where god owners go for a stay. they even supply complimentary dog biscuits!
We loved the heated swimming pool. The room was super clean and very comfortable. We loved the surrounding areas of the hotel as well. Nothing better than being close to nature.
Had a wonderful time! Was amazing to escape LA and feel safe during COVID! Thank you! Cambria and your hotel are charming and wonderful.
This facility was the beat I’ve seen in Cambria. I’ve stayed at several other hotels and this was by far the best.
Cambria
Loved the location and Cambria itself and the local area. Wish I could have spent more time there.
The staff is amazing. The location is great. This is my favorite hotel in cambria hands down.
Cambria
Great hotel
It was very convenient to everything. We walked to every meal we had. Food was good everywhere we went. The room was wonderful, loved the privacy, the lovely happy hour nightly and the firepit was lit from 5 to 9 each evening. Christian was a pleasure and very helpful when finding great places to eat. We were here for our 30th anniversary and a card and a bottle of wine with 2 glasses were in our room when we arrived, such a nice touch. We will certainly be back! Just loved it.
Cambria
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily and breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. It was a nice treat!! Those breakfast burritos were delicious! Was also nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room! The bed was comfortable and great shower water pressure!
Cambria
Lovely decor and right by the ocean front. Perfect for a romantic getaway! They have bikes available for their guests, which is a bit plus.
