My experience at Studio 6 Carson from check-in to check-out was awesome! Nani and his colleague Simba at the reception were offering exceptional communication and assistance at all times! The entire team from management to house keeping is working together to ensure guests have a care-free stay! Several restaurants, shops, Target, a cinema etc (The Southbay Pavilion) are right across the street! A Starbucks is just a 1 minute walk away. Really good free coffee is available in the hotel lobby every morning until 10 am. My experience in the room matched the description on the website in every way. It was spotless clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator with frozen food compartment in the room. Washing machine and dryer contributed to a pleasant stay. Great value for money! I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is definitely worthy of a 10. It’s a bit like a cross between a hotel and a hostel so don’t expect it to be 5 star accommodation. It’s a historic hotel which has been renovated and conserved so it still has no lift and has fairly small basic rooms (although our room was very comfortable and clean and ticked all the boxes). What it does have is art everywhere intermingled with certificates and awards for its contribution to the conservation of the Long Beach area as well as for its contribution to the arts and the community. Every member of staff we encountered was brilliant, always welcoming, considerate and eager to help. On the ground floor there is a big modern kitchen for general use by guests which includes numerous styles of coffee machines as well as a giant cooker, fridge etc. Next to that is a room kitted out with workstations. Coffee was always offered whenever we passed through reception as well as iced water flavoured by fresh fruit. We are in our seventies so don’t think this is a place only for young people!

The cleanliness of the bathroom and having no storage for clothes or anything. The room is a good size that they could definitely fit something inside the room, but no, there is nothing. We loved the pool!!!

I like Carson. A lot of my relatives are lived there.

I like Carson. A lot of my relatives are lived there. That is why I chose Motel 6 because it is close to the mall and also the restaurants. I ate at the sizzler, norms, IHOP,Carl's jr.,macdonald's,olive garden's. I just walk to the mall and shop at JCPenney, old navy and Target I sent my daughter to Disneyland. Actually I didn't want to impose on my relatives so that's why I chose Motel 6, Carson to stay. I used to live in Carson in the 60s. Our church held functions at the city hall of Carson. I love the mighty,mighty Carson

Firstly, it was very conveniently located for our activities...

Firstly, it was very conveniently located for our activities. and there were places for eating and drinking handy, Starbucks just a couple of minutes away! Parking was convenient, everything about it was pretty good.

On arrival we realised that Carson was not one of the safest...

On arrival we realised that Carson was not one of the safest areas to visit as sadly there were quite a few homelessness within the vacinity. Luckily, we didn't experience it, but apparently they do approach you in the car park.

If was a late check in so Carson wasn't really what the trip...

If was a late check in so Carson wasn't really what the trip was about. It seemed ok for a last minute check in though. Was near highway but to close enough to notice any noise from cars or traffic making noise. BOOKING. com made the difference, usually its difficult to book after midnight! Thank goodness they had the option to do so! Carson seem quite enough at the hour we checked in.

Great location.

Great location. It’s near from where we want to visit at an affordable price. It’s dark when we arrived . I was afraid of our safety at first but we found a parking near the entrance and security personnel is presently visible. The check in was easy . The clerk was helpful. What I noticed was the smell inside the building . It’s probably from the carpet or it’s because the garbage not collected.

The location near highways and retail was great. Even though the hotel has a kitchenette, breakfast was provided, starting at 6, which was wonderful since I had to be out by 6:30 am each day. Breakfast included coffee, oatmeal, muffins, and granola bars. (Once of the breakfasts was only coffee and oatmeal, though. Fruit would have been nice too.)
