This was a fantastic find along Route 66. It was quiet, clean and had a wonderful retro feel - very well done. Great to have laundry facilities and a lovely pool with loungers and chairs set in a garden. Sadly, despite the heat, we had no time to enjoy the pool. The motel is right by a beautiful lake, very scenic. Breakfast choice was plentiful, staff helpful and friendly.

Located in southwest Missouri, this motel is 5 minutes’ drive from Carthage town center. It serves a continental breakfast every morning and features an outdoor pool. The nicest people we've met. Very clean and safe. We will not stay in another hotel but this one from now on. I recommend this place to everyone. If we could go higher than a 10 we would. 10++++
