Great spot if you’re needing to go to the PNC pavilion. Charlotte doesn’t have much public transport so Uber is the best way I got around and it was super easy going to this hotel, with freeways close by. Staff are super lovely and my room was massive and clean. The bed was really comfy!

    Wow..loved the shopping.

Wow..loved the shopping. We went to Northlake Mall, then over to Concord Mills Mall which had Sealife Aquarium, Escape Games, a excellent food court, easy to park, they also had a Primark store inside which has got a huge assortment of Disney clothing and accessories with prices that are Fantastic! We went to Charlotte Outlet Mall which is outside. I thought everyone was super friendly and noticed lots of diversity everywhere we went. We came to Charlotte for a concert and stayed 4 days. We also took a tour of Hot Glass Alley which you can go online and request a certain time slot to come see what they do and ask questions. We saw them making ornaments and bought one from their showroom before we left. We thought it was cool and glad we got to see it. My advice for people travelling through Charlotte is to use GPS..it can be a bit confusing with lanes ending, changing, and uturns needed.

It was worst experience we ever had!

It was worst experience we ever had! Lobby floor has a lot of leaves. The floor looks dirty. Then we stuck in elevator for long time when my husband was in a wheelchair. The restaurant is closed, no room service. But when I called ask, the staff said the restaurant open. The balcony room not include breakfast just because I booked through booking.com. That was one of receptionist said. The room temperature cant adjust the number customer want. So its still not warm enough. Please do your favor, if you are looking for luxury boutique hotel, dont go there. It definitely not worth the money !

When I walk into a hotel room, the first thing I see is the beds, my focal point. On this occasion, the presentation of the pillows on the beds looked quite disheveled. I didn't feel comfortable placing my head there. What I liked most was the speed and kindness with which the staff in charge brought the pillowcases to the room and took care of changing them. From then on, everything in the room was better.

We went to the NASCAR hall of fame which was a great way to spend a couple of hours We also went to watch the Panthers play at the Bank of America stadium, this is a must if you can fit your trip round a home game. The atmosphere was electrics and all the streets around the stadium come alive with music and beers before and after the game We did the Segway tour, highly recommended and really informative, I saw parts of Charlotte you would never see or know about just walking around Also try a smokehouse, we went to the midtown smokehouse and the food and service were amazing

    I loved everything I saw.

I loved everything I saw. The social sights to hang out, the arts, culture, museums and food and that’s just a small part. The cleanliness of the city streets, the friendly people. 3 days was not long enough, I can definitely see myself as a resident of Charlotte NC

Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a convenient location near the airport, but you need bigger, brighter signs showing travelers this the Wingate Hotel, ex. the hotel is listed as being 4238 Business Center Drive Charlotte, NC. Using Google Maps to get to the hotel the voice kept referring to Business Center Drive. I never saw a street sign for Business Center Drive. Nor was there a Wingate sign on Little Rock Road Charlotte, NC.

The staff was amazing and extremely supportive of my needs. My room was beautiful, and I felt safe. I had no problem getting the rest that I had so desperately needed. The airport shuttle driver made my commute to/from the airport enjoyable! Also, I only ate from the hotel restaurant- in the dining room and via room service... the food was excellent and the staff made my experience over the top!

This is a new facility in a newly constructed district at Ballantyne. Charlotte downtown is actually far from this place. we were in transit from Washington to Florida so one night stay in the hotel fully suited our purpose. Quite location, nice sleep and everything was new. Park my car just next to the entrance, the parking is big enough and I saw a multi storeys garage on the parking.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. After spending a night in a very dirty hotel this stay was relaxing and gave us hope that there are clean and comfortable stays in Charlotte for small money! The receptionist did her best to make our stay pleasant and the owner of the hotel drove us to the airport in the morning. We would come back and definitely recommend staying there!

The staff were all very friendly, and they made sure that our check in/arrival process was as seamless as possible. The beds were comfy, and the entire room was clean! The best part of the hotel is the proximity to lots of fun activities in the uptown area! Lots of clubs, bars, and restaurants nearby, as well as things like the performing arts center, etc.
