CanadaThe location was perfect for being in the heart of Clewiston. The pool is heated and my kids loved it. We enjoy eating at the Tiki bar right next door and taking a walk along Lake Okeechobee. The condo was modern and clean.

I had never heard of Clewiston, but it was the closest city...
I had never heard of Clewiston, but it was the closest city with hotels for our destination trip to the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation. I love small towns and Clewiston fit the bill. The people were friendly and it was easy to get around and find places and things to do. Not only will we be back, but I will definitely recommend Clewsiston to anyone I know who would be traveling in that area.

If it wasn’t for the bass fishing industry, this town would...
If it wasn’t for the bass fishing industry, this town would cease to exist and fall to the ways of other towns like Moorehaven. On the north end of the lake, Okeechobee has more to offer in lodging, restaurants, and grocery stores like Publix and Walmart.

We have wintered over in a motorhome in the Clewiston area...
We have wintered over in a motorhome in the Clewiston area for five years. We love the area but we’re not able to winter over this year so we drove down for four days prior to a Caribbean trip and booked this hotel online.

We were located at the end of a beautiful park, next to tennis courts, close to the community pool and library in a quaint little city that offers lots of opportunities for tourists. We were in town to visit friends but did see many opportunities for dining.

The room was spacious but it wasn’t completely clean.
The room was spacious but it wasn’t completely clean. The customer service was horrible. They charged me for two day when I only needed one the in the morning the cleaning lady kept knocking at the door over and over for different reasons and she did not understand English. During the night the front deak agent doesn’t answer the phone and no one from the day or night accommodated me for any of my needs or complaints

The Clewiston Inn is a scam.
The Clewiston Inn is a scam. Booking.com took my money upfront and the Clewiston Inn did not have a room for me. I have yet to receive my refund. I would like to warn visitors of this hotel. Do not book this hotel. Do not stay here!!!

The beautifull hotel has a large parking area, and at the entrance everything was decorated for Halloween. It created a nice effect in the lobby and throughout the hotel. When we went inside, the friendly ladies at the front desk immediately engaged with our 4-year-old son and were very kind and polite. We were also offered freshly baked oatmeal cookies, which were delicious. The room was perfect — clean, with great beds! It had two queen-size beds, a very large bathroom, and a brand-new showt. Everything in top condition.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in the States; over 34 visits over 30yrs. It was filthy, in need of agood re paint and clean up.
