We had a wonderful stay. Kevin is an amazing host who makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The private house has a charming antique atmosphere with books everywhere, creating a cozy and unique ambiance. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. It’s like living in someone’s home as opposed to staying in a sterile hotel. The beautiful garden clearly reflects how much care and dedication Kevin puts into it. Breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed the interesting conversations that made each morning special. The location is in the middle of the country but the price is unbeatable and makes it well worth driving to the main attractions, such as Acadia or Moosehead Lake. Moosehead Lake is only an hour away and one of the most beautiful lakes in the country.
