Great town!! If you go, do not skip In-N-Out Burger!! Best burgers around hands down! If you have kids and you are looking for something to do inside, Quandary Escape Adventures is the place to be! My son (11) and I went, and it was a GREAT time!!

I don't think of Denton as a destination, we stayed there to...

I don't think of Denton as a destination, we stayed there to visit family. It is an hour from Dallas (or more depending on traffic)the traffic is awful just like any other urban sprawl area. Tons of construction that definitely caused us several headaches. The downtown area had many stores, boutiques and great places to eat. We had a large group of family members which makes mal time a bit stressful. We ate the Salt Grass steakhouse and would not go back, the Roosters Roadhouse, just OK, Steve's Wine Bar, Great! and those that ate at the Taco place in that same strip were impressed.

We loved our suite.

We loved our suite. It was spacious, very clean, well appointed, a/c worked great and made zero noise! That was a gigantic plus. Employees were very friendly and helpful-made us feel very welcome (except front desk young man-Ryan). It was a wonderful experience. We will stay here or other ES when we travel from now on.

First time to Denton and quickly noticed it's a very pretty...

First time to Denton and quickly noticed it's a very pretty city. Coming from south Texas where it's very flat, high temperatures and dry, it was a nice climate change and the scenery is nice with lots of greenery from grass to trees and buildings. Their parks are a great place to just walk/jog and relax. The vibe is friendly . Plenty of places to eat. The Golden Trangle mall I visited was standard but was extremely well kept and clean. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax if your feet get tire. Didn't get to see other area but the few I did were very nice. Will definitely return!

So I thoroughly enjoyed my staycation in Denton!

So I thoroughly enjoyed my staycation in Denton! Everything was almost perfect to me. Close proximity and convenience to local restaurants and shopping was a plus. The Airbnb exceeded our expectations in many areas. The only suggestions that we would have is maybe having reclining couches preferably leather material. I feel like those can be cleaned more easily for the next guest. Also the toilet seat was a lil small. Other than that it was absolutely perfect accomodations for our weekend.

There are lots of interesting things to see and do in Denton...

There are lots of interesting things to see and do in Denton. And, lots of good restaurants. We were in Denton to visit a friend and to attend the Materials - Hard and Soft art exhibition. The exhibition is a favorite of ours and we try to attend every year. We had a very delicious brisket sandwich at Brisket Burgers this trip. The main streets are busy, but otherwise it is easy getting around Denton. The city always surprises us with something new and entertaining.

Quality Inn has some of the best beds. My wife slept so good the first time we booked this hotel, We continue to visit. We keep saying we need to find out what mattress they use. Finally, we were booked into one of the renovated rooms. It is gorgeous, my wife loves the lilac doors significant improvement. Pleasant surprise!!!
