These hotels in Denver are highly rated by couples: The Slate Denver, Tapestry Collection By Hilton, The Oxford Hotel Downtown Denver, and The Catbird Hotel.
Not fond of Colorado in general. To many rude people. Denver is ok, but to big for me. I only come to Denver for Anshutz Cancer center. 1 to 2 days top every 6 mo. I will say there is a lot to do, but way to busy for me.
The apartment was nice but the beds were both very uncomfortable. And there were only 2 pillows on each, and they were very cheap and flat. So we did not sleep well. It was nice to have underground parking but it was a long walk to the apartment. There wasn't any soap provided for showering. I would not stay again.
We love going to Denver. Being from a small town, it is fun for us to get some city time occasionally. We went to Escape Works, Meow Wolf, Benihana's and loved walking around. We can't wait to go again!
We were able to accomplish what we came to Denver for: seeking out the beauty that Denver and its surrounding area have to offer as the last stop on our 7-state road trip. We checked out the Civic Center Park including the State Capitol. We spent an afternoon just relaxing in the beautiful City Park. We used our downtown stay as a base to do three day trips: one to the incredible Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater; one to Rocky Mountain NP where we climbed to the Deer Mountain peak, watched wildlife at Sheep Lakes, and soaked ourselves in the views around Sprague Lake; and the third one to the marvelous Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak to the south. A totally memorable experience for all, despite the fact that the temperature in the valleys started to climb to the 90’s as we said goodbye to Denver.
A restaurant called ND Street in union station has excellent food. An ice cream shop called Hidden Gems has a secret room! Tattered Cover bookshop is like the old days of bookshops. And the Denver Art museum is worth a few hours.
The weather was definitely something people want to check before visiting. The same day has drastic different temperatures. I visited the botanic garden. It was great! I could spend two hours if I wanted. Departing from Denver takes time. I recommend arriving two hours in advance for the domestic flights. The security gate is only one. There is always a loooooong line (This was my second time to visit Denver).
I loved that this hotel was enough removed from Downtown Denver, yet easy on I25. The area is kind of industrial but it in no way felt uncomfortable and the grounds were well maintained. Our room was an ADA accessible on the first floor which I requested. It was quiet and very comfortable. Ample plillows and comfy bed. Breakfast was outstanding. Hot and well stocked and served. The eating area was kept immaculate by staff with thorough table cleaning between guests. The staff was very accommodating!
The discrete luxury of this hotel was perfect to cushion a difficult business trip. My room was bright, spacious and comfortable, with a good working desk, reading chair and supply of coffee. The staff were quick to bring more amenities and supplies. I enjoyed the gym and the swimming pool in the work breaks thanks to the extended opening hours. The staff at reception gave me great tips on Denver. The location was perfect for meetings and lunches and well connected to Denver transport hubs.
The hotel is a bit strange to get to..located on a one way road and if you get turned around, it’s an adventure to get back to the hotel. Parking was fairly cheap for the area 13$ a day. A lot of homeless around the area but not on the hotel premises. Parking deck is safe and needs a hotel access card to enter elevator or lobby. Extra precautions for COVID which is a safety we required. About 20 minute drive to downtown or the airport. Great hotel for the money. Will stay again
Stayed on the second floor so we could use the stairs instead of the elevator. Perfect location for the downtown Denver area. Very comfortable bed and an amazingly spacious lobby, possible to socially distance and meet safely with friends. The building is the old Colorado National Bank built in 1862, magnificent stone construction and murals in the lobby. Hence the name Renaissance.
Mainstream hotel with rooftop pool in decent location in downtown Denver, although there are not many good restaurants, shops or mini marts within walking distance. Very quiet area although there are lots of homeless tent camps nearby (but they didn't bother us when walking around...and it is a problem all over Denver).
The location is really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful The room was clean and safe The area was quiet Life flower dispensary behind the hotel is best we found if you're going for that reason. Awesome bus service to downtown about a 4 minute walk Supermarket open until 12am - 1 minute walk
I love the style of the room so modern, with a couch and neutral color. The view of the pool is amazing, and as always at best western hotels the breakfast included really good! The location of the hotel is perfect, 15min away from downtown Denver and 15min away from the airport!
Staff was super friendly. Room was very large, had a good view and well-sanitized per regulations. I was upgraded to a larger room simply because they were under capacity. That doesn't normally happen at hotels. Also, for the Denver airport, location is hands down the best
Great welcome at check in. Slept well. Excellent location for shopping, TJ’s down the street. Lots of parking spaces for downtown Denver. This is my go to hotel in Denver for clean place & my pooch was welcome too. Excellent deal for price & comfort/safety.
The Shuttle service to and from Airport was Excellent. Breakfast times were very good. Hotel was quiet and accessible to public transportation from Airport to downtown Denver. Will stay again soon.
The hotel was in a good location in downtown Denver. The hotel also offered complimentary breakfast and ‘social hour’, where they offered free wine/beer etc.
Excellent location, in the dead center of downtown Denver. There is a reception with free drinks and snacks in the afternoon.
Capitol Hill, Denver
The staff was great the place was great the people were great one of the best places in Colorado and Denver!!
Location good, near airport. Shuttle on time. Breakfast good. Room clean and comfortable.
Everything. This was the best hotel we've stayed at since arriving on Colorado
Excellent Hotel close to Denver Airport. Very good quality/price ratio.
Comfortable bed, clean room. Hotel convenient for Denver Airport.
Near airport and tower tap and grill near by was good close by
great food (in a town filled with unhealthy food even in so called healthy restaurants) so ate at the hotel a lot. supper menu is a real strength then breakfast. they close at 9pm maybe this is US culture or there isn’t the demand for food after this but even 930pm for last food orders would have suited us more. staff great. rooms great. lovely concept and location
Amazing rooftop bar and loved the market place. Room was really big and comfortable.
