I appreciated the staff, the location, everything was super clean , very eco comfortable mattress, pillows, blanket . the rooms are roomy, with furnished patio, and even a small refrigerator. The guest room is very pretty, facing the river, great setting, decorated with taste, with great displays, nice furnitures, a great library, where you can read in front of the fire place . The breakfast was very special, really good, healthy, we were given the reciepe upon request, the teas were remarkable, organic, I loved this place .

WOW. We literally had a little house to ourselves with a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors. It was exactly like a home. The setting was cozy and comfortable with a usable kitchen (many utensils that we didn't get to use). I really really enjoyed staying at this place. It's also very close to the main street in town and right by the sea. Parking was free and right outside our door. The door lock is by the last digits of your phone number. Such a scenic location. I would totally stay again.

Worth studying the geology and how such a craggy gothic coastline came to be.Depoe Bay is not for sand walkers, that’s north and south. Depoe Bay is atop a 14-17 million old lava flow. The waves come from several directions making for a dramatic natural scene. Look for the public access points that give you the best up close views of the marine life and geology.

Depoe Bay is a wonderful home base for exploring the central Oregon Coast. It sits in a truly ideal spot — you can head south one day and north the next, making it the perfect central location for sightseeing, beach hopping, and coastal drives. You can never be disappointed with the king tides at Depoe...

You can never be disappointed with the king tides at Depoe Bay. Shops are sweet and Bigfoot coffee was amazing Sea Hag has the best seafood tacos and clam chowder and tasty tartar sauce. Don’t forget your taffy and caramel corn!

not enough open restaurants since there is a lot more people staying in the area with the time share up the block and didnt look like they had enough help in the resataurants we visited not the first time this has happened in depoe bay

Depot Bay is spaced perfectly between Lincoln City and...

Depot Bay is spaced perfectly between Lincoln City and Newport. We spent 7 full days here and enjoyed all three towns very much. It's really beautiful and nice all around, but we could have easily seen it all in 4 or 5 days. If you have a full week, you might consider 4 days here and 3 days up the coast in Seaside or Cannon, then back to PDX for your flight home.

I have always loved Depoe Bay.

I have always loved Depoe Bay. My favorite spot on the Oregon coast & the best place to see whales usually. Cute little town with very cute gift shops. Our only disappointment was the sea was very rough that day & our whale watching boat was cancelled along with all the others for the day. Not the fault of anyone, just weather.

The room has a balcony with a view right over the ocean. The bed was comfortable. The staff responded to our requests properly. The hotel is located close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. The room had a microwave and a small fridge together with a coffee machine but no utensils. We didn't try the pool. There is an easy access to the beach, and at the reception you can find the tides schedule for the season.

Amazing location with stunning views. Even had it's own private beach where you could see whales in the bay. It had a lovely friendly family run vibe and everyone was incredibly welcoming. I needed to handwash a few items and the guy who welcomed us Heath could not be more helpful as he stuck them in the tumble dryer for us. We stayed in over 10 hotels during our trip and this was one of the highlights.

Such a lovely place. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff person was friendly and helpful. The view was spectacular both in the main room and in our hotel room. The laundry facility was great as was the main hall. My kids enjoyed the games provided and the hanging chairs. Great coffee and granola in the morning.
