United StatesThe price for the room was a lot less expensive than most of the other hotels for the days I needed. The room was spacious, clean with a sink refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was very good. The lady from Columbia was very helpful and friendly. She kept everything well stocked.

Duck is wonderful.
Duck is wonderful. Plenty of shops and restaurants, the beaches are pristine, and there's a great boardwalk where you can walk along the water and catch sunsets over the sound. There's a decent path running parallel to the road that allows walkers, runners, and bicycles. It's also very easy to travel to other locations on the Outer Banks, such as north to Corolla where you can see old lighthouses and wild horses. You also have easy access to the Scenic byway that travels the length of the island and connects other small beach towns. You'll seriously never run out of things to do in the area.

Duck NC is a cute beachside community.
Duck NC is a cute beachside community. With many shops, restaurants and photo opportunities, it was great to explore. Personally, we most enjoyed the nearly 1 mile long boardwalk along the Sound's eastern shore, along the west side of the Duck, Outer Bank area. Wildlife abounds, blue skies and coastal marsh, grasses and cypress trees offer great photo opportunities. Lighthouses, wild horses, to the north, Kitty Hawk and the Wright Brothers Memorial are just a few miles south, and the entire Outer Banks strip, more lighthouses, sand dunes, wind surfing, fishing and wildlife southward to Hatteras... and the ferries from Hatteras Island to Ocrakoke Island are well within a day's drive south. From Nags Head, head west on the 64 bridge and visit Roanoke Island and the hamlet of Manteo for some serious history lessons about explorations and occupation in the 16th century, and a good seafood meal! this was our first trip onto the NC Outer Banks. Granted it's remote when compared to many other American Seaside areas, but well worth the drive and time.

Duck is a great location on the Outer Banks.
Duck is a great location on the Outer Banks. It has many restaurants and things like boat/kayak rentals. We have stayed in places such as Avon, which we like. But it is nice to not have to drive quite so far.

So this resort place is exactly that a Resort has everything.I really can’t believe how nice and large it is.How nice the amenities are what a nice indoor facility of fitness pools games hot tub sauna.I really would love to see the outdoor pool in the summer .This place is perfect to if you need a larger or smaller they have it all

Duck is a great place for families and people who want a more quiet and relaxed beach experience. The wonderful boardwalk nearby is one of the best features of this beach community as well as the location situated between the ocean and the sound.Friendly local community and lots of shops and places to explore.

There are 2.5 bathrooms which is very good when you have more than 2 people. The kitchen had all the necessities, although some were difficult to find. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Towels and linens were clean, as was the entire unit. I was contacted to see if we needed anything, which was a nice touch. The area has a lot of restaurants and shops. It's close to Corolla and the wild horses to the North and Kitty Hawk/ Nags Head to the South.

The location is fabulous, walkable distance to the Duck town boardwalk. Access to the ocean is great. There is parking at the beach access for those staying in units further back from the beach. Bed and sofa was extremely comfortable. Between the microwave and the hot plate, we were able to eat most of our meals in the unit. The units were fairly soundproof.

The Grey Goose is in a perfect location- ocean view and a 100m walk to access. Beach is wide and level here. Very spacious common areas inside and outside.
