CanadaWe enjoyed the very relaxing weekend! We stayed in a suite unit, called Deluxe Room, from Harborside complex part of the Rosario Village complex from Orcas Island.
The location was excellent and quite. The unit was clean and comfortable matching the description and the pictures from the booing page.
The entire complex is very nice and we were not impacted by the renovations at the main mansion.

AustraliaWe loved everything! The host, Jodi was delightful. So welcoming and friendly. Jodi & Daniel were happy to chat to us for ages and answer any queries we had. They are both so friendly. The accommodation is the cleanest I've ever experienced with so much attention to detail. It's stunning! Waking up to the pink hues of the sun rising, the sound of the birds and feeling as though you are in your own peaceful little bubble was so special. I would love to visit again. If you have your own vehicle and are looking for a peaceful sanctuary to escape to this is the place! The views are spectacular, the gardens are beautiful. It was just such a special place to come home to after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this as the perfect Orcas Island stay. Thank you Jodi & Daniel for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Orcas General Store has delicious but expensive sandwiches.
Orcas General Store has delicious but expensive sandwiches. Really nice ferry operator and friendly locals. Go to the Exchange-a huge thrift shop that had a great mix of clothing, books, dishes, kids' stuff, etc.

Orcas Island is less populated and less busy than San Juan...
Orcas Island is less populated and less busy than San Juan Island and it has 2 great mountain hiking areas. Eastsound is the main village and has a gas station, supermarket, coffee shops and excellent bakery. You can walk alla round Eastsound, but definitely need a car to see the island.

Eastsound was wonderful!
Eastsound was wonderful! Would definatley recommend the Lone Pine Larder! One of the most delicious bites from the whole weekend. Didn't get a chance to visit Houlme but their pizza looked divine. Brown bear baking was the elite coffee and pastry choice, and I'd recommend getting ice cream from clever cow creamery and wine from Doe Bay Wine. The Orcas Island Historical Museum was fun as well! There's some great places outside of town as well but those were my most favorite spots in Eastsound.

Beautiful little village with cute shops, beautiful setting...
Beautiful little village with cute shops, beautiful setting on water, flowers galore, lots of eateries— bakeries, lunch & breakfast, outdoor, fish & even Mexican—all delicious. Water and forest trails to explore. Do drive up to Constitution Mountain in Moran Park. Warning: remember to make ferry reservations early.

Make ferry reservations and be prepared with your vehicle sizes. Great area - very quiet. Easy to get around and friendly service. We enjoyed a storm event and made the cabin even more exciting in the off season. Beautiful views and good food services. We enjoyed the market in Orcas. It is hard to get to and that makes if a very special place. We saw trash from previous renters - please keep the islands clean. Bring your camera!!
We went to the Mt Constitution look out. Great view.

We highly recommend Orcas Island / Eastsound.
We highly recommend Orcas Island / Eastsound. We enjoyed the stunning views, the beaches, the parks and the kid friendly trails, the galleries, shops and bakeries and a whale watching excursion. We prepared most of our own meals, but had a delicious lunch at Buck Bay Shellfish Farm, bread from Orcas Bakery and our last breakfast from Brown Bear Bakery. We loved Orcas Pottery. Our whale watching with Outer Island Excursions was a highlight of the trip. We got to see two humpback whales put on a show! Loved this place and wish we had stayed longer.

We had a lovely, relaxed stay at The Landmark Inn at Orcas Island. The location is perfect and very convenient, being located at the center of Eastsound and within walking distance to so many shops at this charming town. It was about a 20 minute drive to Moran State Park and to the ferry terminal as well. The wifi was free, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully functional so that I could make meals right in the apartment! Absolutely loved our stay, and Vincent at the front desk was very helpful! Highly recommend.

Beautiful historic resort hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Food was exceptional, pools and saunas dated but well-kept and relaxing to enjoy. Staff helpful and friendly, massage treatment at the spa was wonderful.

Beautiful and immaculate apartment overlooking a deeply wooded vista high above Orcas Island. Convenient location between Deer Harbor and Eastside. Quote and serene and totally peaceful.
