PolandClean and new, close to the big shopping center, would stay again if I am back. Not close to the center, but since I had a car this was not an issue. Would always trade clean place to location especially if I am in transit.

From
United StatesI was in Eugene for day surgery and the sitting room/bedroom suite was just perfect for our needs. My husband could come and go and take our dog to the terrific Alton Baker dog park within walking distance, and use the sitting room during the day & evenings while I rested and slept in the separate bedroom. Your bistro is also very good and he didn't have to go far to keep himself well fed.

This is a college town. They LOVE their college football. There isn't a whole lot to do, but there are a ton of quaint shops. The street art scene is next level. Students get a discount at the weed dispensaries.

Eugene is a college town, full of what you may expect with the amount of students and others milling about town. The amount of businesses that cater to young people is great. There is an element of homeless people that do stay in the area due to it's mild climate and amount of resources available. But nothing that was much more than we see in other towns. The marijuana culture is definitely more prevalent in this town than we normally see elsewhere. BUT! Overall Eugene is a lovely place. It's so green, and pretty. And full of life. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lots of trees in this homey city, greenery and parks along to the MaKenzie River is wonderful. You may spot beavers, eagles, hawks, fish. If you are going for a game or a show, I recommend staying longer to walk in the dozens of city parks, take in some views, enjoy eateries, breweries wholistic vibe of Eugene.

Lots of choices for shopping.
Lots of choices for shopping. However the city as a whole was dirty and filled with homeless, transient people that filled the streets and sidewalks. They even had fires on the sidewalks, doing heaven knows what. It was a bit unnerving, and fearful. I would never consider taking my children or grandchildren here.

Homeless and trash a problem, Natural setting and location wonderful, however poorly managed and maintained by the city. Uncomfortable feeling walking in town, but University area clean and very nice.

Entering this hotel was like a throw back to the 70s and we could not bring ourselves to stay. We paid the cost and moved on. The reviews on this hotel are not right. I don’t like giving poor review but there’s better options for lower prices - so your research.

Good location in downtown, with parking under the hotel. The University sports team theme is well done. The old student ID cards as room keys are a cute touch. Bed was comfy and there was a good sized shower in the bathroom
