Lifelong Cape visitor plus+; have spent months and years from Falmouth to P'Town and InBetween. I have nothing but love for every place on that crooked arm in the sea as well as on it's 2 famous islands. Over the years we ventured more and more to the Outer Cape; we left Falmouth behind. Our mistake: it's natural lushness, its ascending cape "cottages" set off by Vineyard Sound and beaches make it a very special place. My family is returning to the Upper Cape. (And if you are not sure what that means, no shame, but look it up for a bit of our history.)

I love going to Falmouth!
I love going to Falmouth! Lot's of beach's, restaurants and shopping. You can take a boat to Martha's Vineyard and other cape Islands. Lot's to do. We also found these amazing stuffed cohogs at this market in the Teaticket part of the Cape, made by Dans Clams! So flavorful and LARGE SIZE and the cohogs are minced perfectly. I was told they sell at a couple other small markets... Don't leave the cape without trying them!

We stayed in Falmouth in order to go to Martha's Vineyard.
We stayed in Falmouth in order to go to Martha's Vineyard. In addition, we would have loved to visit the Woods Hole Science Research Center but it turned out that there is no parking on site and none to be had near it. We enjoyed great breakfasts at Betsy's Diner near the Mariner Motel and had dinner at the Shipwrecked Restaurant. The food was okay but not outstanding and the Margaritas were quite watery.

We went to Martha's Vineyard for the day via The Island Queen. Very easy to use,
Instead of traveling from Woods Hole.

Falmouth is a quaint little town not too busy and not desolate. The hotel is right across the street from the harbor. This harbor and the bench is there made for the most relaxing wonderful week best part of the week!

I didn't know anything about Falmouth.
I didn't know anything about Falmouth. I just basically chose it due its proximity to the Woods Hole ship terminal. It turned out to be a terrific choice. It is quiet, safe, and has a great Main Street with excellent shops and restaurants.

Gorgeous property in a perfect location. Such a lovely place to stay right on the beach. The sunsets were amazing ! Loved being able to go and sit on the beach for breakfast (note , make sure you buy supplies). The room was fantastic , lovely touch having the record player with a selection of records. Have since been home and rediscovered my love for vinyl. Would highly recommend.

The location is perfect. Right next to the Island Queen for trips to Martha's Vineyard. 20 min walk into Falmouth. 7Eleven right around the corner. Spacious comfortable room, with nice firm pillows.
