Ocean Coast Hotel at the Beach Amelia Island Amelia Island in Amelia Island provides accommodations with free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The location is fantastic, two minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was clean. we took advantage of the bikes to cycle around Amelia Island which was really nice.

This all-suite hotel in Fernandina Beach features full kitchens in all suites and an outdoor courtyard with a pool. The hotel is a 10-minute drive to Fort Clinch State Park. The breakfast was excellent. Good variety and choices. Would have preferred more fruit. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Pet friendly but thought the $125 fee was a little high for 3 nights. I would highly recommend this a place to stay.

This boutique oceanfront hotel features rooms with a large marble soaking tub and cable TV. It has a private beach, and Amelia Island Museum is 2 miles from the property. The nicest staff! Coffee tea and water around the clock. The porch! Great that one can sit there anytime of day or night and enjoy the ocean. The beach chairs & umbrellas - lacking nothing! Room and house very authentic. A real beach experience as I know Fernandina from my childhood.

Fernandina Beach is a quaint little north Florida town located on Amelia Island. The island is 13 miles long by a couple of miles why with some pristine beaches. The southern end of the island has a horseback riding available along the beaches. The northern end of the island has a quaint little historic town Center with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from.

The facilities seem old and pricey .
The facilities seem old and pricey . not the value I expected for the money. Plaster pealing in places., windows need washing, dining area very small for the size of the facilities, not enough towels and washcloths for two day stay. no one came by to tidy up things while i was away. The room rates are what I consider a 4-5 star hotel . this is in no way a comparison.

The beaches on Amelia Island were phenomenal!
The beaches on Amelia Island were phenomenal! Fernandina Beach was beautiful. Sea Cottages were close to everything yet felt quiet and private. Everything one could possibly need on vacation was at the most 5 minutes away, including ice cream! Cottage was great, comfortable, and the AC was COLD, which was a blessing, as Florida is very hot in the summer. Betsy, the property manager was kind and helpful. I loved my stay, and will absolutely return.

Fernandina Beach has long been our family's favorite beach destination. It is family-friendly and pet-friendly. It is a small beach community without a touristy feel. There are plenty of good restaurants and places to shop, including thrift stores and boutiques. We love Fort Clinch State Park, Sliders restaurant, and Ocean Beach hotel, to name a few of our favorite places. I've never been disappointed after a visit.

Pleasant atmosphere. City (and island) layout was user friendly. Attempts to maintain a clean environment were evident. Law Enforcement presence was apparent without being dominant. (I am 35 year retired LEO management) Restaurants visited were top notch. Travel by vehicle and on foot was easy. City layout and signage is good. Nothing comes to mind that I would avoid.

My first time visiting and I must go back! didn't get a chance to see the half of it! My husband and I visited for two days for our anniversary and had a pretty tight schedule. Sliders Bar and grill was excellent! great bands and awesome staff!

The hotel property was surprisingly chic and well-appointed. The decor was appropriate (beach-casual, and southern charm) to make you feel comfortable and like you're on vacation, but wasn't done in a cheap or run-down way. The location is great. There's a very lively (but not too rowdy) restaurant/bar across the street, along with other restaurants and places nearby. It truly is a gem and well worth the price. They provided complimentary refreshments for certain meals and a free shuttle to and from the annual Shrimp Festival.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived early and went to ask for a parking permit until check-in. Instead we were able to check into our room early. The breakfast service was better than most other hotels I have experienced, and gave us plenty of options. We did have an issue with our door key on our day of departure, but the maintenance employee was prompt and got us back in the room. The room was very clean and spacious, as was all of the hotel that we saw.

Very good breakfast with options that changed slightly daily which was nice. Good service by the staff. Pool area was nice to swim and sit around in the evening before heading out. It was in the sun all day. The tap water machine was broken at the hotel but the reception staff were on hand to give me bottled water instead.
