It's your typical but non typical medium sized town.

It's your typical but non typical medium sized town. There are a few museums, a dog park, and more than a few green spaces. Quaint and quiet. And clean. It is easy to get around town and we shopped at a few owner run shops. Bought gifts there. We really enjoyed staying in Fort Morgan.

The attached restaurant was the only thing that shined here (don't believe they are affiliated). Hotel was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The so called breakfast . A continental trash bag comes to mind !!! A granola bar and an over ripe piece of fruit !! (listed as continental/buffet) Don't use Covid as an excuse as I've seen far better during the pandemic. Toilet didn't work proper, Quality paint job in the room, overspray on most everything..... This place is overpriced for what we received.....

Was there for a charity event.

Was there for a charity event. The people are great and exceptional. However if you are one of those that are in constant fear of Covid, you might want to stay sheltered in your room. The citizens of Ft. Morgan value freedom over propaganda, and you won’t find many establishments other than chain stores adhering to government over reach.

We absolutely love the staff they were very friendly and helpful the room was perfect it was a double room and it was excellent it had a separate seating room from the bedroom the bathroom was very large and a very nice shower the room also had a microwave oven and a small refrigerator in it they had an exercise room a pool and a hot tub. When we looked at the room online it showed that it had a hot tub bathtub in the room which they said they had done away with these during their remodeling which was fine because they had a hot tub in the pool area I also had a laundry area if you needed to do laundry. The only thing that could have been better was the choices for the free breakfast but due to The covid-19 pandemic they were very limited on choices and I can understand that we did have the breakfast sandwiches they offered and fruit as well as other items and they were all very good. Getting around Fort Morgan was very easy there was a Walmart less than a half a mile away as well as other food places for fast food there is also a restaurant that is on the property and which we had dinner and it was very good I would recommend eating there we picked up our dinner from there and took it back to our room. They also have free internet which we did not use. They also had complimentary Coffee and Tea all day long 24 hours. Overall it was just a wonderful place to stay I would highly recommend it.

We were raised in Fort Morgan.

We were raised in Fort Morgan. We met my partner's sister and her husband there. We attended the VFW Memorial service, went to the homes where we lived as children and ate at the local eateries....Acapulco Bay Mexican Restaurant had great enchilada and quesidilla, Cables for a beef dip, The Mav had a great bourbon/maple salmon fillet (similar to that from Outback) and the Steak Out. Getting around Fort Morgan was pretty easy. The only navigation glitches we had on our whole trip was Google maps good directions! Way too many adventures happening. Next trip....back to an Atlas book and paper maps.
