It was a charming, quintessential Northern Michigan cabin. It was small, but very clean and well appointed. The price we paid for a Saturday night stay seemed a bit high, however, it was far below prices in nearby Frankfort and Traverse City. The owners communicated well and responded quickly.

The quiet, woodsy location was perfect for my husband and myself. The apartment was beautifully maintained and stocked with some essential items. We enjoyed this little piece of paradise with easy access to stores, restaurants, the beach, ice cream etc.

The hosts thought of things such as condiments in the fridge, coffee filers and tea. They left a bowl of snacks along with a can of cashews on the kitchen table for us. Very thoughtful. Boxes of tissues, plenty of towels and toilet paper. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was about a mile from downtown Frankfort in a beautiful rural setting complete with a songbird that greeted us in the mornings and early evening. The location was also perfect to access the Betsie Valley Trails that run from Elberta to Beulah. Beautiful biking area.
