The location was perfect for us to drive into Bar Harbor for dinner and then drive to Acadia the next morning. Location was quiet and felt remote even though we were only a few miles from Bar Harbor.

Probably the best stay during our USA road trip! The cottages were pretty and nicely decorated, and I think they were spacious enough, except for the bathroom. The facility provides grills (charcoal and electric) and a bonfire, which was the highlight of our stay. The housekeeping is on demand but is not really needed, as new towels and coffee or other necessities are provided 24/7 in the main office. Additionally, the laundry was taken care of for us and even folded free of charge!!!

This Ellsworth, Maine hotel features an indoor saltwater pool and a hot tub. Free Wi-Fi and a daily continental breakfast are also provided. Acadia National Park is 18 miles away.

This was a beautiful little place to stay at. Everything we needed was provided, much like in a hotel (sheets, towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, etc., even coffee!). The only thing we needed to get was food. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. Communication with the host was through text which was great and always very prompt. The location was awesome. Secluded with direct access to the beach but only 10 min from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia National Park. We loved our stay at the Chalet. One thing I’d recommend for visitors is to also bring bottled drinking water, as the tap water is high in iron and leaves an aftertaste.

The place is amazing! Great location near acadia National Park, beautiful surroundings, and also near the Walmart Super Center. The rooms were clean, big, and they were well furnished. full kitchen for families. Pool with game room for the kids. The staff was great. It's Deffenatly the right place to be in!

The property was conveniently located with 2 major grocery stores across the street. If one forgot necessary clothing items, there is also a T.J. Max and a Maine must see store, Renys. I was in town for eye surgery and a 10% discount was given for cataract recipients. The fridge and microwave came in handy since I could not drive post surgery. I was greeted warmly by Gary and handed delicious chocolate chip cookies. I requested a quiet room (the hotel sits by a railroad) and he put me on the second floor. It was perfectly quiet. The breakfast isn’t anything to write home about, but fresh fruit and whole wheat toast would be my recommendation. They offered cereal and almond milk was available. The hot items were not personally my cup of tea. This has no bearing on how I felt about my stay. I came prepared to make my own breakfast. Hot soup is available throughout the rest of the day, which is a thoughtful touch. The room is well appointed & clean with plenty of towels. The mattress was amazing as were the pillows. If I could have fit it in my car, well, I would have been tempted! Heading back there tomorrow for two more nights for the other eye. Thumbs up!
