Being in Gatlinberg I was in a charming downtown with cute shops but was also 15-20 min to awesome hiking trails. Then in the opposite direction to the north I was 15-20 min from Pigeon Forge with museums, dinner shows and Amusement parks. A good variety of things to do! And very family friendly. Gatlinberg is a fantastic central location.

We love staying in Gatlinburg within walking distance to the main attractions. Gatlinburg has a lot to offer for couples or families. Shoppers, goodies or outdoorsy people can find plenty to do. It is crowded and can be hard to navigate during peak season and weekends and holidays.

Lots of activities to choose from.

Lots of activities to choose from. Excellent selection of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend going to the top of mountain for breathtaking views-it was 60 degrees in town and tons of snow still on the mountain in February. Tons of walkways and hiking trails. Extensive streams with lovely trees and rocks-ideal for nature lovers. Friendly people and welcoming staff wherever we went.

isiting Gatlinburg, TN was an absolute delight!

isiting Gatlinburg, TN was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm of this vibrant mountain town. Exploring the bustling streets filled with quaint shops, cozy cafes, and delicious eateries was a true pleasure. The stunning natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park provided endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, from scenic hikes to exhilarating zip line tours. And let's not forget the exhilarating attractions like the Gatlinburg SkyBridge and the iconic Ober Gatlinburg tram ride, offering breathtaking views that will stay with me forever. Overall, my time in Gatlinburg was nothing short of magical, and I can't wait to return for more unforgettable experiences.

Gatlinburg is the all time best location for a trip away...

Gatlinburg is the all time best location for a trip away from home without spending a small fortune, especially for people living in TN, NC, and other nearby states. You have a quaint town with beautiful views (you can still see the horrific damage from the wildfires). It's nestled literally at the entrance to GSMNP which boasts beautiful drives, wildlife sightings, great stops for picnics, swimming, and hiking. 6 miles away is Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood. Pigeon Forge is a great place for kids with lots of fun things to do. The best thing about Gatlinburg is that you can literally park your car and walk the town or take their hop on/off shuttles.

Beautiful town, plenty of shops and restaurants . Located at the entrance of The Great Smoky Mountains. Plenty of things to do for the whole family. We went in January and avoided the large crowds.A lot of great hiking trails nearby. You can walk from one end of town to the other end with no problem.

The location of the hotel in Gatlinburg was excellent. Within walking distance to downtown attractions/restaurants. Even though the hotel was in an excellent location, when you are on the property of the hotel it was very quiet and relaxing! Enough parking and in great locations based on your room location. Felt secure and safe. Indoor pool was excellent since 2 of our days were rainy. The hotel is right on the river with balconies hanging right over the river. The sound was so relaxing and the view was incredible!

Great location! Just out of the Great Smokies National Park, with access to the Motor Trail; only 3-5 blocks from the main street in Gatlinburg! Pretty much within walking distance from all the action downtown. Hotel room had plenty of space, pretty quiet location; overall felt very comfortable for a stay. Friendly staff with super easy check in/out; well spoken and well informed from the area. Best hotel experience I have had in a really long time.

I arrived on day one of the down season (by default, not planned that way) and spent a wonderful 4 nights at this accommodation exploring the Smokies. I was so impressed with the quality of the hotel, how quiet it was and the attention from staff. I will definitely stay again when I visit this part of the world (I'm in Tasmania). Thanks team.

After 9 states and as many hotels this trip, Greystone was the Best. Good breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Efficient check in/out. Balcony on the river was very nice especially after two days of rain the river flowed creating a peaceful rhythm. Located right on the edge of town it is short walking to everything in Gatlinburg.

The location of the hotel was great. Located 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains. Gatlinburg provides a free trolley until 9pm that has a stop in front of the hotel. Dollywood is also a short 20 min drive. The rooms have a creek that can be viewed from your private porch.

I liked it’s location within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. The best view for the creek is the first floor. the third and fourth you won’t see a stream you’d see the massive construction site behind the hotel. luckily we had a lower level 1st floor room. the hotel snack and food bar was good food.

Completely remodeled rooms. Very cute. A lot of work has been put in this old motel. Very cute and eclectic and appropriate for the area. The beds are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in a hotel. Nice work continuing to breathe new life in the old motel. Would definitely recommend.

I love that the hotel is right on the river. With each room having it's own balcony. We saw 2 river otters, which was amazing. And a ton of ducks and fish. It's also walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg which helps a lot cause traffic can be hectic.
