Offering a seasonal rooftop pool and bar, and sun terrace, Beauport Hotel Gloucester is located in Gloucester, MA, overlooking Gloucester Harbor, Pavilion Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Being downtown, we were hoping there was more to do or see within walking distance of the hotel. Most of the promoted events were not walkable.

This oceanfront hotel features panoramic ocean views from each guest room. It has a breakfast cafe on site. Good Harbor Beach is a 5-minute drive away. Room and service was excellent. I would recommend the Anchor Inn for anyone staying in Hyannis MA.

HINT; If you're on the third floor you're under the 4 floor rooftop pool, bar, and deck. VERY NOISY in your room. Thank God they closed at 10:00pm...... Views are great from there however so you shouldn't miss it! We dealt with the noise......our first night. Everything else was worth the trip....Food, service and location is classic "Glosta". The secret is to enjoy the rooftop with a night time swim, soak in the jacuzzi or nightcap until it closes. That's what we did and all was fine thereafter! Actually just perfect!

gloucester is a pretty city, fairly easy to get around in.
gloucester is a pretty city, fairly easy to get around in. we were there after christmas and they had a really cool christmas tree made out of lobster traps and fishing buoys. Next time would like to not be on 3rd floor of hotel.

Gloucester is a quaint little beautiful town.
Gloucester is a quaint little beautiful town. However, everything closes very early with short hours of operation. Be prepared to eat early or may not find places open. Bookings for tours were sold out for the only day we were available. Will book ahead next time.

We have been to Gloucester numerous times and love the area.
We have been to Gloucester numerous times and love the area. Love the whale watching tours, the Hammond Castle, the beachfront, the waterfront with the statues of the Fisherman and the Woman with her children waiting for her fisherman husband to return, the parks to hike through and the close proximity to Rockport and their awesome shops. We ate at several local restaurants that are definitely a welcome change from the chain restaurants that take over other areas that we have visited. The food was excellent and love the charm of mom and pop businesses and care that they take that often is missing in franchised businesses. Just an overall lovely part of the country that we love to visit every year.

Loved Cape Ann Whale Watching tour! Loved the variety of restaurants. The old waterfront area of Gloucester is fun to wander. The entire Gloucester Peninsula is nice to drive around, but be cautious of all the traffic and narrow winding streets.

Gloucester is rich in the fishing community, and the beaches and water views are amazing. You can shop, sight see, go on boating trips, whale watch, etc. The villages are charming as well. The restaurants in the area are incredible! You can’t go wrong with a trip to this historic city.

Breakfast was continental style but sufficient. Good parking area and easy access to Gloucester and Rockport etc. The beach is a short walk. The pool is heated and a reasonable size with sun beds and shades.
