This little town is packed with personality!
This little town is packed with personality! I always love stoping in to soak up as much of it as I can. They have town festivals, big spirit, old school feel with modern shops, and the best shopping boutiques. The town is full of hard-working ranch land and the remnants of it. The town is easy to navigate and the people are super friendly!

Antique stores and shopping stores should stay open 8 - 5 Saturday and Sunday this will bring downtown more outsiders to visit and shop. close 1 day during the week. I spend most of my money in Victoria.

The presidio and the mission are nearby and were beautifully...
The presidio and the mission are nearby and were beautifully restored with rich history. The beautiful courthouse with its hanging tree is also very close to the hotel. Though the town is very small with few restaurants, we enjoyed our visit to Goliad.

I did not stay. Don't care at all that I lost the money. Sue was very nice but the facilities were not good...outdoor stairs to the room, widow ac had not been turned on when I got there and I was dripping before I could even unload the car. Called best western, booked in and left. Sue very nicely refunded the $40. pet fee that she had asked me to pay in cash and she offered to move another guest to the upstairs room and give me a downstairs but waiting for all that to happen was not an option for me after a 3 hour drive.

From the fresh smell as soon as you walk in to the superb front desk staff my stay was great! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I needed a bottom floor room for my two dogs and even though they were booked up he still made it happen. Thats great service you can't find at all places. The pool area was nice and clean with fresh towels and an outside shower to wash off the chlorine. He also gave me great advice on what to go see and about the history of Goliad. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great budget hotel which greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet so I had a good night's sleep. The staff were really friendly and I would definitely return.
