There is a great Christmas tree farm in North Guilford run by the Wettemann family. Go by in December and cut your own tree! Sample some hot chocolate, buy some native maple syrup, find a lovely wreath made to your custom order by family members, and even peruse the latest artwork by cousin Eric!
In December, the Guilford Green in downtown Guilford is a lovely place to be. In the evening, all the homes and shops around the Green have candles in the windows in the shining in the evening light. There is also a great fish restaurant at the docks that you will really enjoy.
“The gentleman who checked us in for the night was pleasant and helpful. They ran out of regular rooms, so we were given a suite for the same price. Although a bit dated, the room was clean and comfortable. The motel is in a great location for Guilford and the Shoreline towns.”
