Loved our stay!! Great location and our room had everything we needed, lovely and clean and a comfy bed and great parking right outside our room. Marta was fabulous!! She helped with pre visit information and it was lovely to meet her during our stay. The recommendations made by Marta were excellent and our visit to Sag Harbor didn’t disappoint, where we had a lovely meal at the American Hotel, wandered the lovely shops and even went to the movies which was small and cosy in contrast to ours in the UK. We also had a day on Coopers beach and now being classed as out of season didn’t have to pay the 50$ parking fee. And our final top tip has to be tea at Captain Jacks 👌

Hampton Bays is the main town to get an affordable hotel...

Hampton Bays is the main town to get an affordable hotel with close enough access to the rest of the Hamptons from Southampton to Montauk. There is also a main grocery store Stop n Shop there with much less grocery options as you go deeper into the Hamptons. There is also an old movie theatre with the old style seating (no fake leather recliners like many movie theatres now-a-days) surprising they didn't update for being in the hamptons. The many bays in the Hampton BAYS offer ocean views but not many beaches, the main huge beaches on the Atlantic Ocean side of he south fork are quite inaccessible to tourists during the busy season after memorial day. I just went to 4 of them from Southampton to East Hampton before memorial day when I could easily park and marvel at the endless beaches as far as the eye could see in both directions with no people. there are only TINY parking lots on the beaches with huge private houses in between the town and beach too far to try to park in the town and walk to beach. I suggest renting a Helicopter or get there at 5 am. Or know someone who has a mansion there. This is THEIR playground it is clear and I respect that. BTW the tree lined residential streets are impressive, I literally did a tree tour as they have preserved some magnificent trees.

Live on Long Island but this was a quick anniversary getaway...

Live on Long Island but this was a quick anniversary getaway. Great restaurants, beaches and local shopping. Perfect for fishing, hiking and general relaxing. Feels like New England small town life, but only 50 miles outside of NYC.

It was an incredible experience! Wonderful staff, the most positive and professional people! And of course, incredible design, very beautiful and most importantly - with a soul. It is felt literally everywhere. We see a book with the history of this project and how long and incredible the work was, it is really felt, while this is the only hotel in America that I would gladly return to. All chains did not even come close to the level of this service and care, you deserve 100 out of 100 and I will be happy to see your other projects! ✨

Great location right across from the ocean. Loved to be able to see the bay from our balcony. Bed was unusually comfortable for a hotel. Pool and the overall common areas were very nice.
