Located on an acre of land directly on the Peconic Bay, this Aquebogue hotel offers direct beach access and proximity to hiking trails, golf courses and horseback riding. Free WiFi access is... I was on a two night off-peak break and this place suited my needs perfectly. Comfortable, lovely views, quiet. The room (7) was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, there was a great stock of (extra charge of course) wine, beer, soft drinks, cheese, nuts, crisps...in the room, instant hot water in the shower, great view from the deck which was nicely screened with fencing and palms from rooms either side. Great views, lots of comfortable seating everywhere. Easy access onto the quiet private beach. The young man on check in was very friendly and helpful and was able to provide a kettle (& teabags tho I’d brought my own just in case) for me to make cups of tea - there was an esspresso machine in the room. It is in a very nice residential area and nearest restaurant was about a mile away so a car is essential for dining out. I did hire a bike for a trip to a coffee shop in Aquebogue - roads fairly quiet - but be aware their bikes are the old fashioned type without brakes - you have to back pedal to slow down and stop! Took a bit of getting used to! But fun.
The owner Duncan was a kind and valuable asset to our stay he remembers Everybody by their first name and accommodates them with all requests the rooms clean and an overall very friendly attitude was displayed throughout our whole stay
