The location was perfect for the wedding we attended. The hotel was lovely and so nice to stay at. The decor reminded us of cottage country in Ontario, Canada. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. And the pool area was to die for!! The room was spacious and well laid out. We would most definitely return.

We loved the suite. Having seperate bedrooms was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had pet stations outside. We had 2 dogs with us. I ran out of bags, so that was helpful. We will be staying there again.

Are stay at the Ankeny IHG was great as always! The staff is friendly, it is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Beds are super soft and it was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely stay there again if work calls me to this area.

De Rice, The Ornery Chicken and Amigo restaurants were absolutely delicious 😋 I love the food. Also, I noticed the town was pretty. And at least where I was and drove to I didn't see trash in the streets or on the sides of the roads.

I wouldn't stay again or recommend, needs updating, and carpet torn out. Ran out of breakfast items long before the serving hours were over, and the server didn't seem to care. Toilet seat had splatters, GROSS!

Last year's stay was different than this years.

Last year's stay was different than this years. Asked for close rooms they we're not. Desk said they were. From 01 to 25. Not close. Shower wash empty. Only 2 towels. Didn't clean our room so 2 towels didn't work. Had to ask the front desk. Breakfast room locked so if you wanted to play cards or a game at night no tables, only sofa table or coffee table. Bag of garbage sat for 2 days by the elevator. Very disappointing since we have been here before but feel the whole hotel has changed. New management?

We love this hotel, we've stayed there before but this suite was amazing. The check in is great and fast and the breakfast is awesome. The place is a little older so you have to expect things like older carpet and such, but aside from a spider in our room there was nothing broken or dirty.
