Located on Kaneohe Bay, the Paradise Bay Resort offers views of the Koolau Mountain Range an outdoor pool, and a hot tub. A complimentary daily deluxe breakfast is offered. What an amazing place! We booked it only for one night, but if I knew that it was so good, we'd definitely stayed longer. Free yoga, canoes, different activities, wonderful view... and I loved the pillows, extremely comfortable:)

Located in Kailua, 5 miles from Maunawili Trailhead, Kailua Beachside 2Bed/2bath has a living room with a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. It was right next to our favorite beach. The few from the master bedroom was amazing. The bottom floor was sand as Mud is to a mud room. Perfect set up. Loved the outside shower with hot water as well! Up side we come as a family of 7 and there was so much room we could have been more. That was nice!
We love this side of the island. It does rain more, but not for long. Coming through the mountain tunnel from Honolulu, its like you past through a time warp back. Kaneohe is a small town and has everything you need as far as amenities. Its close to beaches, tours, North Shore, and the Shrimp Shack.
It was easy to get to other places and less congested than Waikiki.Rural the real people- The Paradise Bay resort we stayed in was not eleborate but the scenery there was breathtaking and the relaxed atmosphere can not be forgotten.I loved waking up to hearing chickens and seeing nature. I loved their featured singer,Kimo K. and chef was excellent at the Polynesian Friday buffet. Also at the resort the daily breakfast with fresh fruit eggs and a daily surprise was awesome. Kayaking on the bay was breathtaking. The Kualoa Ranch was excellent.Daughter loved ziplining The nearby cemetary of many religions was beautiful . The Byodo- in Temple was beautiful and grounds were well kept.I wish we had more time at nearby Kailua Beach but able to hike to the WW2 pill boxes.I miss sipping the great macadamian coffee by the bay. I hope I can bring back the rest of my family one day.recommend Buzz's and Kalapawai cafe. Daughter loved permanant food truck at 83 between our resort and the Ranch garlic shrimp. Polynesian cultural center short easy beautiful drive away Must rent car.
Kaneohe is an Hawaiian city that is not centered on tourist trade. It offers everyday shopping and eating options allowing visitors to feel at home. We were there during a flash flood, so we can say first responsers and public works services were prompt and courteous.
Paradise Bay Resort is a gem. I’ll never stay anywhere else in Oahu. After the disappointment of Waikiki, the view and tranquility of this resort was such a breath of fresh air. The staff is really nice and helpful with info about local restaurants and sites. We loved it so much, we cancelled another reservation and stayed an extra night. Not far from anywhere on the island.
Less wet and windy weather was the only thing that could have made our trip better, but we were on Oahu for a wedding so couldn't adjust the dates of our trip. However the rain even brought benefits because we got to see many mountain waterfalls that only appear during the rainy season. Awesome!
This side of the Island is where Hawaiians live and work. 100% opposite to Waikiki! Surrounding views of the mountains are just spectacular, a constantly changing vista as sun and cloud create varying aspects of each mountain face. There is a shopping mall not too far away plus a good selection of eateries. Vehicular transport essential if staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel grounds were lush and well cared for. Unfortunately heavy rain and winds kept us from enjoying many of the hotel perks during our stay. Studio unit was cozy, clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay there again!
