1.) Because the great restaurant Calicos next door.
2.) Close to the Tesla supercharger.
3.) Walking distance to the Mohave Museum.
The room had been newly renovated. I hope they also plan to do the bathrooms next.

Kingman is a great area ! Would like to return someday ! Lots to see and a lot of history ! A couple of days would be good! Easy to get around ! Good eating places ! Lots of art work and old cars! A step back in history of Route 66!

Very poor hotel.
Very poor hotel. Cigarette burns in the bed spread and down hill from there. Wall repairs not completed. Light switches and plates painted over very sloppy. Bath tub finish was coming off. Tile floor in bathroom had loose tiles. Dirty tile floor and walls in bathroom. We had one wash cloth and one plastic cup for the two of us, the other towels were fine. The lady at the desk had a personality of a dirt road. No hello, thank you, or smile. She doesn’t understand customer service. Maybe she was having a bad day. (I hope)

While vacation in Laughlin, we opted to stay overnight in...
While vacation in Laughlin, we opted to stay overnight in Kingman to enjoy the local craft breweries and golf. There are three in town, all walking distance from each other. Two of the three have a full menu; the food was delicious as were the beers. Another fun stop is the distillery near the airport for rum tasting! It was worth staying at a local hotel so we could walk instead of driving.

The two Museums -- Mohave Desert Museum and the Route 66 Museum were informative and very pleasant. The pictures of the Dust Bowl and the suffering families and the truck with all the goods in it was evocative

We loved Kingman, a great little place.
We loved Kingman, a great little place. We had got information from YouTube before we went so headed for "Mr D's diner where we had lovely food and a great milkshake. Took photos of the historic cars outside and then made our way to the Route 66 museum. Loads of photo opportunities to capture the Route 66 sign, train locomotive and the passing Amtrak freight and passenger trains. Kingman is walkable but there are taxis.

I like Kingman it's a small town yet big enough.
I like Kingman it's a small town yet big enough. It is HOT during the summertime - but the nights are nice. I'm from a big city here you can see the stars that I can't in the city with to many nights. It's very easy getting around in Kingman.

An ideal location for downtown Kingman. Within walking distance of two museums and places to eat. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Clean and modern hotel. Buffet breakfast was ok. A couple of bowls of fruit (apple, banana, orange) laid out to take when wanted.
