The mansion is perched on a hill off the road up a long driveway therefore very quiet yet only a mile to town and several excellent restaurants. The grand old building is a jewel with modern conveniences. It was decorated for Xmas with garlands, festive lights and giant nutcrackers on guard

For the most part my room was very clean. Bed linens were clean and fresh as were the towels. I checked in late in the evening but the guy at the reception desk was very nice and curtious. Sry I didn't take any pics to share 😐

The house is very nice and very clean.

The house is very nice and very clean. The big issue is that the listing states there are outdoor cameras that are turned off once guests arrive. They are not turned off. They are watching you constantly. They contacted me twice regarding happenings at the house. Booking.com did not tell the rental agency my 2 kids would be staying with me. They contacted me to tell me there were more than the booked 2 guests sleeping in the house. The listing is false and the cameras are watching your every move. The house was great other than being constantly recorded and watched via camera which is not how I want to spend my time while visiting family.
