Located next to the shores of Lake Erie, this Lakewood motel features a central location just 1.5 miles from Edgewater Park and a 10-minute drive from downtown Cleveland. Our room was awesome. It was like a small apartment. The staff was super nice!! Will definitely stay again.
Four Points by Sheraton Cleveland Airport is the newest hotel in Cleveland. Features free Wi-Fi, bottled water in all rooms and largest hotel pool in the area. The pool was good and clean wish it was a little warmer or you offered a hot tub but it is a hotel and maybe not getting enough use
Wyndham Cleveland Airport features a restaurant, fitness center, a bar and shared lounge in Cleveland. This 3-star hotel offers an ATM and a concierge service. We wanted to stay at a hotel close to the Cleveland Zoo. It was a perfect location. It is not close to the city but our intention was not to visit downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. There was NOTHING outdated about this room in our opinion (maybe because our previous night's stay was terrible in Cinncinati). The bathroom was great and everything drained as it should :) We did not come there for a conference but it looked like a great facility-very spacious. The breakfast area was also very spacious. Due to COVID, there was no breakfast and that is TOTALLY understandable. My son left his Nintendo plug in the hotel room! I called the hotel without expecting them to find it much less send it back to me (I've left things in hotels before without success in retrieving them). To our surprise, the women working there, who had just started a few days prior, not only personally looked for the plug but also located it and mailed it to us free of charge. Thank you for your honesty and hard work.
We came to the area to tour the Christmas Story house, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A shop owner recommended we visit Solstice Steps, which we loved and I was happy to residents enjoying the park as well. My husband and I drove around in the nearby neighborhoods admiring the local homes. Our next visit will be longer so that we can spend more time enjoying the parks and trails.
Staff was very friendly, accommodating. Location was great. Bathroom was very clean. Hotel needs to be upgraded. Halls and room smelled. Box spring shouldn't be used. Corners had holes, hoping nothing crawled out! Walls very thin, hard to sleep with doors banging people talking.
Horrible room was dirty sheets had hair and dirt. Wash rag in bathroom had so much hair on it we was so upset we left day early the worker did nothing to help asked for refund they was very rude about it. Doors we slamming all night people coming in and out all night.
We met a very nice fellow traveler who offered to take us into Cleveland. She gave us a small tour of the area. Beautiful lake front and very nice houses in area. Was in area for Cleveland Indians game so did not have time to enjoy area.
