United StatesQuiet spot in the small town of Leon IA. Very friendly manager and the atmosphere of the place was calm and nice overall. It's an older traditional motel that remains in good condition. Quality better than the price would suggest; other travelers rated it well and I understand why after staying there.

Pulled back covers and a large pee stain on sheets.
Pulled back covers and a large pee stain on sheets. Lights didn’t work, coffee maker didn’t work, lights didn’t work smelled really bad like urine bed super uncomfortable and the furniture was worse than free from the curb.

Lamoni, is a place to stop for the night off the Interstate unless you are visiting Graceland University which has activities such as theatre and intercollegiate athletics. There is no nightlife here whatsoever! If you are looking for peace & quiet you will find it here.
