Las Vegas isn't just for gambling or shows. We took some day trips to go hiking at Zion National Park and Valley of Fire State Park which were beautiful areas. The Hoover Dam is close by too and worth the short distance. Every restaurant we went to had great food and gave a big amount. We did not try any buffets. Seeing all the different statues and buildings are worth the trip to Vegas also. The Bellagio Fountain display was really good!
A larger city than it seems to be, walking all over Las Vegas can take a substantial amount of time. Luckily for some areas, there are monorails, and Lyft and taxis are everywhere. There is a wide variety here for all economic levels, from cheap eats and hotels all the way up to very high level hotels and dinners. The lobbies and casinos in the major hotels (and outdoor areas, like the Bellagio fountains) are free and open to all.
Great place to vacay, whether it be by yourself, with family or with friends. There is so much to do that you can take several trips out here and feel like you didn't get to do everything. So we keep coming back for more. Lots of food options. You can choose from fancy and classy to inexpensive affordable. Catch some shows or concerts! This trip we went to Loves and Friends Festival held at Las Vegas Festival Grounds and Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
I've been visiting Las Vegas on/off for nearly 40 years. It's an adult playground that's hard to top. If you're into shows, gambling, clubbing, lounging by the pool with hard beverages and people watching this is the place for you. If you have heat issues do not visit during high summer months but late fall and early spring are fantastic.
Awful place, walked between Foremont St and The Strip, homeless people everywhere lying in gutters and on sidewalks, felt really unsafe. The large hotels were surrounded by scruffy t-shops, bazaars. Couldnt find anywhere to eat other than a casino...
This is not my first time in Vegas. I’ve have been to Vegas about 10 times. This is the first time staying at circus circus. Circus circus is at the end of the strip. Where walking shoes. It’s great to look cute until you can’t walk the next day cuz your feet hurt. Use bus if you don’t rent a car. It’s $20 for three days unlimited. If you rent a car and have never been to surrounding states it’s a 20-90 min drive to most of the surrounding states. We see Mohave dessert it was beautiful. Hollywood is less then 5 hours. If you have been to Vegas but not in the last 5-10 years forget everything you think you know. I went out thinking Ik what I was getting into but it’s changed so much. Also if you think your going to get great deals in buffets do your research. Circus circus buffet was only open on weekends but was very good. In and out burger was very good. We did go out of town about 10-15 passed airport and got another decent buffet. Cheaper off the strip for sure.
The location of the hotel was excellent and was next to the Venetian. The bar in the hotel had the cheapest drinks on the strip and the rooms were big and clean. Complimentary coffee and toiletries were provided. My husband left our door slightly ajar after fetching ice by mistake, which the security guard kindly knocked the door to let us know. We were able to walk to all of the sights from this hotel and it was about 5 dollars in a cab to Fremont St which is worth going to see. We would definitely stay were again if we go back to Vegas.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
We came to town for the CES and chose to stay at the Bally's as we found it was the best option both because its perfect location (middle of the strip), convenient transportation to the LVCC via the monorail (which has its stop near the hotel) and better price for the room comparing to the other hotels on the strip. During our stay we also received complimentary wifi connection which was really usefull. Rooms are really spacious, same is the bathrooms with convenient walk in shower which has strong stream of hot water available.
We stayed in a very comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with Bellagio fountain view. This hotel is the best combination of value (good prices/no resort fees/free parking) and location (center strip; easy walking to major casinos and restaurants, no need for car) on the Las Vegas strip. We were properly advised in our booking process that some hotel elevators might be closed for repairs, but we never experienced a wait of more than a minute for an elevator. And Gigi at the front desk was very helpful. We plan to come back.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
The best place to stay in Las Vegas. No casino, good infrastructure and pools, wonderful spacious apartments, amazing view - it was just a perfect stay! They also have a great place for breakfast and lunch in Tower 2 and a little shop and Starbucks in Tower 1 - just everything that you may need. By the way, the hotel gym is also top class - modern equipment, fresh towels, headphones, water and apples - it's a pity I didn't have time to visit it, but I definitely will if I ever come back.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
We liked nothing about our experience in this Hotel. The hotel is of cheap standards with outdated unappealing design. The rooms are noisy because insulation is absent. So you hear the TV in other rooms as if it is in your room. Water pipe noise. Etc... Contrary to other hotels we visited during our stay in Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay doesn't feel appropriate to put sanitizing gel in front of elevators. Just a good example of lack of basic overall attention in this place.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Very good hotel with good selection of restaurants and bars. Large room with very comfortable king size bed and good selection of amenities within the room. Room cleaned every day to a high standard with nice view of Mandalay Bay Hotel. Short walk to main strip via excalibur hotel or external walkway. Bus stop located outside hotel for travel along strip and downtown Las Vegas (Freemont Street) $8 for 24 hours.
Loved this place, we wanted to experience Fremont St and not the other glitzy side of Las Vegas. First time staying on this side of the city. Highly recommend. This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Las Vegas, highly recommended! We have great memories, would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you El Cortez hotel :)
Location was okay, cheap for an uber to and from the strip. Staff was terrible the rooms were dirty, the hallway floors are absolutely atrocious and the evaluators were super sketchy.. I could go on and on. Do not stay here just spend the extra money and stay on the strip at a well known hotel.
I was on the South Tower at the Plaza Hotel Downtown Las Vegas. The room was very clean, cozy, and I felt very secure and safe in it. The room size was large and roomy and I really appreciated that. My room had cable, air, internet service, and a King Size Bed which was awesome. Thank you.
We liked that it was laid back, no crazy like down on the strip. The Sourdough had great prices, we ate there 3 times while we were there. It was like when I first came to Las Vegas years ago. All the new hotels are cool but I prefer the older ones.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
This is a real 5 star hotel. Not directly on the Strip but very short taxi ride or walk. We previously stayed in another 5 star hotel on the Strip but if you don’t need to stay in a casino hotel than this is definitely better option
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
It was on the strip and it was close to a fair amount of places. It was a cheaper rate than other surrounding hotels and it was a good place to sleep. The casino was also conveniently close to the elevators.
It was very close to the Las Vegas strip which my family and I liked very much. We were able to see a lot of things on the strip without paying a lot of money to stay at a hotel on the strip.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Great deal for one of the most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas. Since we stayed in the cheapest room, we didn't get to see the great view from the room but still, it was fun.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Large hotel with cassino, no cheap breakfast options (breafast buffet was closed). The best thing was the price, even though it did not include parking.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Just the location value and staff , its a cheaper option in the best location of the strip las vegas , has every thing next to you.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
The Linq hotel it’s located on the Strip Of Las Vegas near the best hotels.
The staff is super friendly and helpful they all seem to enjoy what they do even during the stressful times
Las Vegas
