When checking in was advised if I would like to upgrade, my response was yes since we were in a group. Asked for a room with a view, was given a room to look at rooftop of Fremont street. I requested rooms to be together the attendant assisted with that. As I assumed at most hotels which I stay when rooms are connected there is a pass thru door, this was not the case (misleading). The Attendant stated that there would be some noise, Again misled. I was unable to sleep due to the volume of noise from Fremont street. Finally fell asleep out of being exhausted. I did not ask for a room change because I felt there would be more incurred charges, I noticed that there was a statement to that. I booked and advised our group of costs to share, bottom line I ended up paying more than my share, I was not going to ask again due to charges. To summarize I felt Misled, dissatisfied with the ordeal. I doubt this will make much difference since the volume of people you have going through. Check in clerks will still receive bonus for upselling and being vague.
Great time. The cigarette smoking inside the casinos is gross but the THC smoking everywhere was fun lol Being from the east coast it was nice to be the 1st ones up and at em early. We were 1st in line for Starbucks and the pools. Free drinks while you are gambling.
We love Vegas, but not everyone does. However, as Vegas is not just about gambling and party, there's adventure, shows and so much else to do. So, from our perspective, definitely something you have to see at least once. A special atmosphere and impression we love is Fremont Street.
We weren’t interested in doing the whole Vegas experience, so preferred to stay in Henderson. It was a half way point for our trip from San Diego to Zion, Utah and was just perfect. Nice clean hotel, love the free breakfast, easy and convenient. We stayed there on our return trip too and we’re just as happy. We did end up going to the Strip store on the return portion of our trip. Fun to see the beautiful casinos on the north end (Wynn, Encore, Venetian, and Palazzo). We had some great meals and enjoyed strolling around the upscale shops. Spent about an hour or so at the tables, but honestly am fine if I don’t get back there for another five years or so.
Las Vegas isn't just for gambling or shows. We took some day trips to go hiking at Zion National Park and Valley of Fire State Park which were beautiful areas. The Hoover Dam is close by too and worth the short distance. Every restaurant we went to had great food and gave a big amount. We did not try any buffets. Seeing all the different statues and buildings are worth the trip to Vegas also. The Bellagio Fountain display was really good!
A larger city than it seems to be, walking all over Las Vegas can take a substantial amount of time. Luckily for some areas, there are monorails, and Lyft and taxis are everywhere. There is a wide variety here for all economic levels, from cheap eats and hotels all the way up to very high level hotels and dinners. The lobbies and casinos in the major hotels (and outdoor areas, like the Bellagio fountains) are free and open to all.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
The hotel is huge and presents an opportunity to never leave the premises. You can find anything you want of Las Vegas inside the hotel. Great variety of restaurants, bars and gambling options. The room is quite spacious and the king size bed is very comfortable. There is a little pizza place in the hotel lobby which you have to try as it is one of the best I have eaten in the USA.
Great value at this hotel. It’s a 10-15min walk to the main strip. The staff here is very nice, the restaurant food is cheap and good, the beer is THE best value in Vegas...period. $2.50 USD per beer brewed in house. Even my german friends who were visiting commented how good it was. I would def stay here next time I’m back in Vegas.
Loved this place, we wanted to experience Fremont St and not the other glitzy side of Las Vegas. First time staying on this side of the city. Highly recommend. This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Las Vegas, highly recommended! We have great memories, would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you El Cortez hotel :)
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Facilities are world-class: spacious bedroom (with adjacent living room) and bathroom, great location and views of the Las Vegas strip (even if it’s not the best among all the top hotels in LV). An enormous number of options to eat and shop inside the hotel (or the adjacent The Venetian).
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
The hotel is located right on the strip, close to many other landmark hotels in Las Vegas. The room was large and clean, with a decent view—we didn't pay for rooms on the strip side, so it's okay. Probably we should have stayed more at this hotel during our trip.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
We were here during the summer. Temperatures in Las Vegas reached 117 degrees. The BEST feature is the connections from the Signature, to the MGM Grand, all the way to the New York New York Hotel. Almost ALL without stepping foot outside in the intense heat.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
This is a real 5 star hotel. Not directly on the Strip but very short taxi ride or walk. We previously stayed in another 5 star hotel on the Strip but if you don’t need to stay in a casino hotel than this is definitely better option
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Amazing location on the strip while way cheaper than the other options nearby! And loved the cute flamingo habitat area in the middle of the hotel. Also proximity to the great alley of bars and restaurants by the Linq.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
It was on the strip and it was close to a fair amount of places. It was a cheaper rate than other surrounding hotels and it was a good place to sleep. The casino was also conveniently close to the elevators.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
My hotel experience was one of the best, from great staff members to room service. The facilities provided alone topped off my trip in Las Vegas. It is definitely a place I would stay again.
Beautiful hotel and great location. Best price I’ve found in Vegas. 20 mins away from Fremont and 5 min drive to Las Vegas blvd for all your gambling needs !
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
A lot to do for one hotel, clean and nice. Cheaper than any other iconic hotel on the strip, and had convenient parking. Definitely worth the money
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Clean room and bathroom nice light colors I don’t like dark rooms , bed very comfortable one of the best Hotel on the Las Vegas strip
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Absolute value for money for a 5 star hotel right on the strip plus free valet parking. Would definitely go again.
Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
The best hotel in Las Vegas
Las Vegas
It was very clean.. I'm a covid freak according to my husband...lol . You're only in the elevator with your designated party..everyone was friendly and wearing masks. They even provided you with one if you didn't have one. Also they check your temperature at the door. Overall great experience. I will back.
