FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Las Vegas has so much to offer both on and off The Strip. It was amazing to see the complexity of the hotels. Beyond the strip there is so much to see and plenty of food options for those who are vegan or vegetarian. A fantastic place to explore.

The Las Vegas Strip is an incredible place to explore with its vibrant atmosphere and dazzling attractions, making it a must-see destination. However, visiting in July means braving the extreme heat, which can be quite overwhelming. I highly recommend avoiding a summer trip if possible. One crucial tip is to book a hotel on or very close to the Strip, as parking fees are high and traffic is heavy. Exploring the Strip on foot is the best way to soak in the sights, so be sure to carry a power bank to keep your phone charged for all the photos and navigation.

It's America's Playground, and while yes, there is plenty to cringe about in this unsustainable city in the desert where every desire can be fulfilled if you have the cash, it is the very unreality of it all that makes it so much fun. You will enjoy the place more in you allow yourself to tun off your critical faculties and simply appreciate the food, the shows, the people-watching, and the spectacle. You don't have to gamble to enjoy Vegas; you don't have to debauch yourself, either. If you like good food, interesting people, wild shows and desert sun, Vegas is a great destination.

Las Vegas is a great place to visit as a adult.

Las Vegas is a great place to visit as a adult. Recommend you leave the kids at home Here are my tips *Walgreens vs CVS. Personally I prefer Walgreens. I feel like it's cheaper in comparison. CVS was triple charging on water and Gatorade. Go to ABC stores! Ever since I've been there they always had the buy 1 get the 2nd for a dollar on waters and a bit cheaper compared to CVS. *During the summer, the key is HYDRATION. At the food court in Cesar's palace. Get the fountain drinks (FREE REFILL) I do two sodas with no ice cause drinks are already cold. Then a gatorade. I carried it around in the casino and strip. Very helpful. LOL just nurse your drinks unless you're really thirsty! If you're going to carry around a water bottle. Try those electrolyte packets they have at CVS/Walgreens. Total game changer to staying hydrated. *If you are staying 5 days and on a budget. Consider staying at The downtown grand for a couple of nights cause it's cheaper. You get to experience Fremont street and the local casinos. Then you can move to mid strip like the Linq etc... *Key is to plan at least 3 months ahead to get the better deals. M-Thur you will get the best hotel deals. Weekends the prices are always higher Watch videos of youtubers (Norma Geli/Jaycation) reviewing las vegas so you can plan your trip and get perspective from people who've been there often or locals

Worst experience ever. Just stay anyplace else.

Worst experience ever. Just stay anyplace else. Horrible room on the end if the airport runway. Extremely rude workers like their giving you the room for free. What they do give you free they can keep. Breakfast was no good. Cramped into a little room was the food served and bland. Nothing around but airport towers and planes. What a waste of time and money. They need to just knock down the building and make a parking lot out of it. I have over 700 thousand review views on Google and I hope this helps people not make the costly mistake I made by booking Best Western McCarran. I still have ptsd from the environment. Just Horrible

Hotel is in a prime location on the Las Vegas Strip and is easily walkable to many of the main attractions, such as The Venetian. There is also a monorail station located at the rear of the property, which allows you to cover more ground on the Strip. Room was in quite a nice condition and there were multiple food options available in the laneway next to the property. Room was kept tidy and the elevators were in good condition.
