Dinner at the top of the World at the Strat was incredible.
Dinner at the top of the World at the Strat was incredible. The food and service was amazing. It is a quick 40 min drive to see the Hoover Dam. The highlight of the trip was going to see Ru Paul's Drag Race at the Flamingo Hotel. It was a great show that had us laughing the whole way through. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the Miracle Mile Mall and the restaurants...
I really enjoyed the Miracle Mile Mall and the restaurants available. It was good for shopping. This property was also convenient to the strip to see the other hotels and had ample shopping for food and necessities nearby. We also enjoyed sightseeing off the strip visiting the Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Peach Springs to drive down into the Grand Canyon. There were many tours if interested to view the nearby attractions, but our party of 4 chose to do our own self guided tour.
I would like to say it was nice to have a rental car, but it was a slight bit inconvenient to take all the shuttles to/from the airport to the car rental property. There is a bus from the terminal to the car rental pickup and then another shuttle to our car rental, Fox Car Rental off the airport campus.

Vegas really is the place that does not sleep.
Vegas really is the place that does not sleep. Visiting the strip is always great but enjoy the outer boundaries stay you will definitely get more for less. Remember to stay hydrated the sun is real based on the time of year you visit. Excellent entertainment and the shows are usually great. It's worth a visit if only once.

We loved this hotel! We went for a cheaper room without a view but it was still great - really clean with fresh towels every day. It was a little hard to regulate the temperature in the room but a brilliant stay perfectly located on the strip.
Top tip would be to use their online check-in option. We had no waiting in line for our room. You just download an app which is the key to your room. You can check out in the same way.
There were big queues at certain points of the day so definitely worth doing.
We loved everything about this hotel. We were upgraded to wonderful rooms with fantastic views of Las Vegas and even offered us 2 bottles of wine. Very polite staff and very clean rooms with everything you need and more. The best features were the electric fireplace, the washing/drying machine and the balcony with the sitting area. If you are a family and want to avoid the casinos this is your best option. Excellent experience, definitely worth every cent!
The hotel is ok. All the negative reviews are a bit overdone. The hotel is the cheapest on the strip and of course it's not a 5 star hotel. Nevertheless it suites the purpose, is cheap and and acceptaby clean. The staff is very friendly. When you take a room a bit further from the elevator there is no noise at all.
Central strip location is probably the best in Las Vegas. The hotel is attached to mediocre casino. Reception is small and not always staffed. There are no other facilities you would normally associate with a hotel reception. You get what you pay for.
We loved our 2 meals at Gold Miner cafe. We had the best service. Our room was wonderful; very clean, spacious and very quiet. We were in Las Vegas to see U2 at the new Sphere and this hotel is the perfect location to easily walk. We LOVED it.
