FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

We loved the attraction we visited at the sphere, the Palazzo was wonderful. The walk to the Sphere to the Eagles concert was all inside and was not a bad walk, however, the next day when visiting the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere we were required to walk outside in the cold as they had closed off the walk indoors as they were setting up for a convention which was very inconvenient for Sphere visitors seeing the Wizard of Oz.

It had been about 20 years since I last visited Las Vegas. It has grown so much, and its infrastructure is extraordinary. I really enjoyed the views from the hotel and my walk along Las Vegas Street. I even thought about moving to Las Vegas; it's a very beautiful city.

What we liked most: Cirque du Soleil's "O," the Bellegio fountain shows and the Arte Museum. What we liked least: the LOUD MUSIC everywhere, indoors and out. Why in the world are buildings pumping music OUTSIDE on the streets, in addition to street performers who overamplify their own music? We also disliked being constantly accosted by folks on the street who want you to pay to have photos taken with them.

Visiting the Strip and experiencing the casinos and hotels...

Visiting the Strip and experiencing the casinos and hotels is undoubtedly a very exciting and adventurous activity. The transportation is spectacular, including the driverless taxis; it's truly a futuristic city. Without a doubt, the best place to eat was at the Mandalay Bay Hotel; there are some great spots to watch the NFL and enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices.

Visiting the strip one day or 2 evenings is more than enough. Take one evening in Fremonstreet Rent a car and head out: Valley of fire state park, Grand Canyon Skywalk West, Hoover dam. If you have time, try to visit a restaurant in Henderson and Boulder city.

The location on the strip is really good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. And it was not too noisy though windows and walls were thin. Not the most modern hotel (maybe higher room categories are more modern), and the bars and restaurants on site were not very appealing (e.g. not very well mixed cocktails), while prices were quite high. But that’s Las Vegas.

good value for money, at least midweek, not extortionate like other hotels on the strip. room size was large, nice feel and fun quirky theme. fun to stay in the pyramid. good sized pool areas although the jacuzzi bath wasn’t working. casino was cheaper than others on the strip and blue man group was good fun. you get what you pay for.
