La Quinta by Wyndham Las Vegas Airport South

Hotel in South of the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas

Located 5-miles from the University of Nevada, this Las Vegas hotel features an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Free shuttle service to McCarran International Airport is available 24-hours a day. This is a spotlessly clean, very well equipped place with a helpful staff. You can't hear the airplanes at all. What you can hear, is the other guests' dogs. The staff, with the best intention, gave us a room on the ground floor opposite from the airport. Unfortunately 2 dogs arrived to the same corridor the same day and they were loud. The staff offered us another room for the next night and it was perfect. The breakfast is good, if there is no empty table in the breakfast area, there is additional room outside or you can take the food into your room. The shuttle service worked well. Although my son left before the breakfast time, the breakfast area was open and he could find some food.

Oasis at Gold Spike

Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas - Fremont Street, Las Vegas

In the center of the city of Las Vegas, Oasis at Gold Spike is just a 3-minute walk from the Fremont Street Experience. To begin with I love the fact that they offer Texting communtication. It’s easy and fast. The location is just 1/2 a block from the Fremont St. experience. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The rooms have everything we needed. They have a night club on the weekends which can be loud so if noise bothers you then you might request a room away from the club, other than that we love it. By the way I have to mention that the girl at the front desk Alexis is very kind and has excellent customer service skills!

FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.
