Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.
You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.
Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

The floral display at Bilagio Resort was quite stunning. The construction and traffic problems made it difficult to walk around and enjoy the offerings of all the shops and the noise was very annoying. Having to use a taxi rather than shuttles was an added expense. Will not return for some time.
Never stayed there and got charged for it. I had no idea that I had finalized a deal to stay there. I was on the road on a cell phone and got cut off a numbe rof times so I didn't continue and had to look elswewhere
The place is out of the world. one should really visit Las Vegas once in their lifetime. I wouldn't recommend visiting in Jul-Sept. it was too hot in here. What I like the most is that you can go and visit any hotel. Caesars Hotels and resorts owns many of the hotels on the Strip and all of them are fabulous. Fremon street is a lifetime experience. Helicopter ride was worst if you are seating on right side. you get to see nothing.
SOOOOO EXPENSIVE. Drinks anywhere are 15-30$. Hotel drinks poolside are the most ridiculous. It's a complete money grab and I make 150K +a year. 2 single highballs are 50$ poolside. Unhappy Hosts and servers in most places. We dined at a couple spots in the belagio for dinners to watch the fountains on the patios in particular and experienced miserable and unwilling to cater to needs . That said, the views and the food were excellent. Too many tourists are a little too much for the 21-25 yr olds in the service industry.
There is a Las Vegas for everyone, depends on your budget and who you come with. The strip is full of loud music and street level entertainers, great overhead light show and wonderful choices to eat. You will smell marihuana all the time you are there like it or not and not a place for children. Better air quality in most large hotels. Come for the shows, the great food and the people watching. conventions, sports events and some out of Vegas fun. From exotic car driving to shooting a machine gun or taking a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon all is possible in Las Vegas. Easier to bring your girl than to try to find one there but sex services are also a staple in Las Vegas. This is a place you can experience many times.
I always feel that Vegas is best for a short trip experience unless you are into gambling big style. Important to stay at the right hotel and pay that bit extra for modern as plenty of the hotels are in need of updating.
