Ellis Island Hotel Casino & Brewery

Hotel in Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas

Located 15 minutes’ walk from the Las Vegas Strip, Ellis Island Casino Hotel & Brewery features 4 on-site dining options and modern rooms with free WiFi. I am a female sole traveller and I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The hotel has asked whether I was staying alone during check-in, and I replied yes. I would like to give the hotel a big applause for sending 1 male staff and 2 male security guards storming into my room when I locked the door and put on a “do not disturb” sign outside. I was taking a shower, fully naked at the moment when the 3 male staffs stormed into my room. I fully agree that’s the right way to do as there was a leakage at the restroom below mine, and this was such an emergency that the 3 male staffs couldn’t wait more than a minute after knocking my door. 10/10 stars for being so well prepared for emergencies. As traveller, I feel so safe staying at your hotel when your security reacts to emergencies swiftly. Another 10/10 stars for the FEMALE staff whom I called 5 mins later asking what is going on. I was totally convinced that this was an emergency, and there isn’t any female personnel who can storm into my room instead. Full score for everyone who understand their own job scope and execute their duties perfectly. Well done!

Oasis at Gold Spike

Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas - Fremont Street, Las Vegas

In the center of the city of Las Vegas, Oasis at Gold Spike is just a 3-minute walk from the Fremont Street Experience. To begin with I love the fact that they offer Texting communtication. It’s easy and fast. The location is just 1/2 a block from the Fremont St. experience. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The rooms have everything we needed. They have a night club on the weekends which can be loud so if noise bothers you then you might request a room away from the club, other than that we love it. By the way I have to mention that the girl at the front desk Alexis is very kind and has excellent customer service skills!

FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.
