The room was newly renovated. It was very nice. And the beds were very comfortable. And it was very clean. I also want to say, that Sam was a great host! He's very friendly and helpful. I wanted extra pillows, and he went, right then and got two of them. He is an excellent Host!!

Honestly I was staying in Lennox but doing business in Pittsfield. I will try and make time to get back and explore more of the area. I'd love to take in a show at Tanglewood and enjoy whatever else comes along.

The location was perfect for our needs. The room was spacious, spotless, and stylish. Not a boring cookie cutter chain. Lots of thoughtful touches and a very comfy bed. Many dining options within walking distance at all price points.

Make sure you check out the Brewery down the road.

Make sure you check out the Brewery down the road. Be sure to explore the Lenox historical area. If you can get to Lee you should go to Salmon Run for excellent seafood and service to match. We went to 2 near by ski areas from here and Stockbridge.

Lenox seems more crowded than mid-town Manhattan in summer, especially weekends, but the town traffic control is very good and after many short stays in the area, it remains our choice destination. Be patient, find a place to park, then walk in the village. Make dinner reservations well in advance. Drive out to one of several near-by walking places (and/or drives). Choose from the many mansions open for touring in Lenox or within driving distance (e.g., The Mount (my favorite), Ventfort Hall, Arrowhead, etc.) and art museums nearby (the Clark Art in Williamstown is amazing). Stroll in the peaceful Berkshires Botanical Garden (Stockbridge). Make a plan and then deviate at will.

Lenox is a small, pretty, quiet New England town.

Lenox is a small, pretty, quiet New England town. Summertime visit and everything is green and lush, and flowers are in bloom everywhere. Very little downtown area so you’l see it in a couple of hours at most and then you’re done. If you are going there to see a concert at Tanglewood, (also in Lenox), this is the town to stay. If you are going to the Berkshires for excitement, nightlife, however, it’s not happening here. Nice meal (late one lunch/early dinner) at the Old Heritage Tavern in their outdoor patio in back. All four of us were happy with our meal choices and very pleasant waitress. All the shopkeepers we came across (artist studios, home goods, clothing stores) were really friendly and helpful.

We have visited Lenox many times over the last ten year and...

We have visited Lenox many times over the last ten year and always have a great time. We love Haven for breakfast regardless of the long lines, it's worth the wait! Highly recommend Alta for dinner and across the street you will find an ice cream truck for desert. The town is charming with lots of sitting areas, shops and very close to museums and local sites like the Edith Wharton House and Gardens and Norman Rockwell Museum. You will need a car to get around. Don't forget Tanglewood if you want to see the Boston Pops or James Taylor. You can picnic with friends and family, always a wonderful evening while relaxing on the lawn. For a great family activity on the lake, rent a pontoon boat at Berkshire U-Drive. A short drive from Lenox but lots of fun!

Realy awesome historic building it’s just fun to explore the whole grounds! And house! Quiet room, I felt really safe. And with a comfortable bed! Clean and up to date facilities. big variety for breakfast!, there’s a little trail to walk in the back. There’s big chess, horseshoes and hammocks! again coolest hotel I’ve ever been it! I was blown away!

Great location. Very clean. Day staff were very helpful and professional. Little fridge and microwave was great. Room was nice and spacious with a small couch and electric fireplace. There were 6 pillows! Beds were a bit hard, but fine for an over night. I saw guests enjoying the indoor pool. Felt very safe at the hotel. Reasonably priced
