The location was just private enough that you felt secluded, but it was close enough to the park and restaurants that you could get anywhere in 10 min. The inside was stunning, cozy, and the hosts provided every nice gesture imaginable.

A very clean and quiet community.

A very clean and quiet community. The people were very friendly. We went up to Hocking Hills hiking trails. The major negative part of that excursion was that the trails were not marked well. Also they did not distribute paper maps. Very hard to determine where we were. But we persevered. They need to have better markings on the trails as well as signage that helps hiking people. I was a bit sad to see discarded plastic water bottles during our hiking the trails. We picked up a few of them, but not all trash was easily accessible to properly dispose of.

The town of Logan has lots to offer and close to camping...

The town of Logan has lots to offer and close to camping hiking... we stayed overnight to then go to BiG FooT fest in Vinton County ( fairgrounds). A short drive away. Plenty of stores, restaurants and distilleries

Saw Ash Cave..very nice walk or hike. Not too long.

Saw Ash Cave..very nice walk or hike. Not too long. Not crowded..visited during the week. We ate at Millstone BBQ..so yummy. Also stopped at Utica,Ohio Velvet Ice Cream for lunch. plus a quick stop to see the dog fountain in Mount Vernon.So cute. Did some shops in Amish country Millersburg Berlin. Gas prices were good. Rte 13 was a nice ride no interstate driving saw the country side.

There's not much to do in downtown Logan, but Hocking Hills...

There's not much to do in downtown Logan, but Hocking Hills is a must!!! It's reminiscent of the out west State Parks, but only 4 hours away since we live in Michigan. There are so many stunning trails with caves and waterfalls. There is also a delicious pizza place called Capt. Ron's Pirate Pizza near Hocking Hills and is amazing with great service and outdoor seating. Shout out to Olivia! There is also a great coffee place called Hocking Hills Coffee Emporium. It's very quaint and all the food is home made. The coffee is delicious. The best part is the atmosphere. You can sit on an upper deck and just hang out for hours!

Nice little town with many private restaurants.

Nice little town with many private restaurants. State park trails are within 10-15 min car ride.Recommend Old Man’s Cave and tourist centre beside it. ( also whispering cave and Rock house for more advanced hikers- rough terrain,) Great place to visit 2-3 days.

Hocking Hills State Park is something to behold (as long as...

Hocking Hills State Park is something to behold (as long as you enjoy getting out in nature and doing some hiking)! We never did get into Logan itself to see what it had to offer since we spent all of our time in the park hiking the trails and seeing the gorges and caves.

This is a staffless accomadation. I did have a question, and the owner answered my call immediately and provided the information I needed. The room was tastefully decorated, the TV had multiple good options, the bed was comfortable. The room and lobby were clean and inviting. I had an excellent and inexpensive breakfast at a diner that was a 4 minute walk away. The place is undergoing renovation, but the first floor is finished, and there was no inconvenience related to the work. It is in the center of Logan, but it was quiet.
