We really enjoyed the Ellen Trout Zoo and absolutely loved getting to shop at the Adkins Candy Store!!! I look forward to many more trips to this area. All the food and restraunts I ate while here were absolutely fantastic with service, cleanliness and food experiences!!! Navigating the roads and traffic was easy and the residents I spoke to were very friendly.

The hotel was very nice.
The hotel was very nice. Clean, quiet, well situated to many places to eat. There were at least three places you could walk to. The staff were all polite and friendly. I was only there for the night, but I did get to do a little shopping. If you enjoy perusing through stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, Bealls, Hobby Lobby, Ulta and more, it's all right there!

We stay in Lufkin because Huntington doesn’t have any hotels or motels. It’s convenient to stay in Lufkin and drive to Huntington. We are breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner at my sister's.

I like this town.
I like this town. It has a few bookstores, though unfortunately mostly centered around games. I saw a zoo that I'd like to visit my next trip. Loads of restaurants, so there's a variety. I am going to be happy my next visit next year!

I loved everything about the property, as it was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was very helpful. I thought the price was a bit steep to be in Lufkin. I’m from Houston, Tx and would have paid less for the same quality.
