Set in Matlacha, 11 mi from Coast Connection Family Boating Center, Matlacha Cove Inn offers accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Wow this place is fabulous. Right on the water and from the front you wouldn't even know. Karen there was so kind and considerate. She bent over backwards for us. This type of place and service is dying in America. Enjoy it while you can. Also the place was absolutely spotless.
Located in Matlacha in the Florida region and Coast Connection Family Boating Center reachable within 9.9 mi, Matlacha Tiny Village features accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and... Atmosphere - so cozy. Location - on the right side of the drawbridge to get to our ferry on time lol. There was a nice little covered dock and picnic tables as well. Furnished kitchen was great. Everything we needed for overnight. Groceries within a short drive.
Boasting an outdoor pool and lake views, Pine Island Paradise is set in Matlacha. Within walking distance of several restaurants (Perfect Cup, Blue Dog, Yucatan) and super cute shops. vz f. Lovegrove’s art gallery and gardens. Her gardens are a MUST. You’ll never want to leave! Back to Pine Island Paradise - the pool is wonderful, plenty of shaded patio space, my room was clean, had a kitchenette, and 3 AC units. Will definitely stay again!
It's a perfect summer stay. Early morning sunrise at the Matlacha Community Park, followed by breakfast at the Perfect Cup. Heads up, if you're not really hungry, get a plate and split it the omelets are huge! Long hot lazy days wandering thru the hippy dippy shops, with an afternoon nap is a must! A breezy deck to enjoy in the evening sunset. Went to Bert's Bar a couple of times, great food and light entertaining. Local tip, Friday's All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry $9.99! Shout out to Ashley! Took a couple trips to Bokeelia on Pine Island during the day for a walk on the pier and a beer at the Captain's. Great pie btw. If you're gonna get pizza, make sure you choose Miceli's! Great food and atmosphere!
This location is walking distance in Matlacha to shop and eating places. It's great for fishermen, and easy to get in and out from the units. Staff is wonderful and very clean . It's enjoyable to have a screened patio and decorating lights are just enough for a romantic mood and relaxing at night.
There are many restaurants and cute little shops. Matlacha is very close to Cape Coral, Fl. Some of our favorite places to eat were The Perfect Cup for breakfast or lunch, The Yucatan, Micellis and Berts for happy hour or anytime. The food is great and the music was great and all are on the water. We also had dinner at Hooked which had great water views and food.
A beautiful, relaxed old Florida fishing village - think Key West in the 1960s. Wonderful laid back restaurants, friendly people, funky art galleries. Surrounded by water. The casual vibe meant no dressing up or fussing with hair & makeup. Kayaking or just sipping cocktails & watching the sunset - my mind of getaway.
This is a fisherman's paradise. The water surrounding is so nice to see and enjoy eating at many places here which have daily fresh seafood. Really enjoy the fresh pop corn and treats at Fudge shop, and the many souvenir shops near by at walking distance.
Matlacha has a lot of personality, with waterfront bars and grills all over the place and a bunch of houses painted in the most adorable colors. I didn't do much in Matlacha itself, but drove over to Sanibel to watch the sunset on the beach. 100% worth it.
