Above expectations! Everything was above our expectations! Perfect location, and we had a really large room with a fully equipped kitchen – amazing! The hotel also has a laundry room available, which is perfect for travelers across the USA. Coffee and tea were available all day in the lobby – a great touch! Breakfast was very tasty and definitely above expectations. The pool had slightly colder water, but overall still nice. We would be happy to return!

Ended up here by coincidence, due to a change in programme, and what a luck! Probably the most comfortable hotel I stayed in California (at this price tag), many services offered (including laundry), great breakfast and nice staff at the front desk.

Staff was very friendly despite us arriving after midnight. They honored my request for a quiet room on the top floor, which was much appreciated after a long flight from Europe. The room was clean and recently refurbished. All sorts of fast food options in walking distance, as well as petrol stations and shops. I’m sorry we only stayed one night - next day in Mariposa we got a room for 2x as much money which was significantly worse than this. If visiting Yosemite, a 50% discount on hotel rooms may wort the additional 30 minuted drive. This motel deserves a high rating as of fall 2025!

Merced area does not have the best hotels and crime rate is...

Merced area does not have the best hotels and crime rate is high, there is also a lot of homeless in the area of motel Drive. However, my stay at this Ramanda Inn hotel exceeded to expectations it was very nice, clean, quiet all amenities were new and up to date and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is right next to Dutch, Subway and also a good Mom & Pop restaurant for home style cooked foods, right next door to Dutch Bros walking distance

Merced is a small city, there are some beautiful places to visit, like Yoshimite Nationoal park, which is two hours from merced. However, you can visit Yosemite Lake, which is next to the University; it is beautiful.

Despite its traditional charm, the hotel was very comfortable. My room was pleasantly clean, and the beds provided a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in so easy. We definitely will be back and stay here again.

Merced has great locations as far as Yosemite at One...

Merced has great locations as far as Yosemite at One Direction Fresno win the other and going up to Buck Meadows or core School through the Old 41 very nice and if you get it in the right time of the year you get to go to the Frog jumps and Angels Camp

This hotel and stay was our best ever.

This hotel and stay was our best ever. Rooms are clean and comfortable and soooo cute. The staff all were helpful, friendly with wonderful smiles. Our only issue is that we drive a large truck that was tight to park but all worked out. Would love to plan another visit as soon as possible. Thank you to the entire staff
