Highlight of the trip! The lodge is decked out with activities, snacks, drinks, etc. Breakfast was fantastic, bikes were available to use (perfect for July 4th weekend with lots of traffic), even a trailer was attached to one of the bikes to bring our toddler along. The couple who owns the lodge is amazing, they're so sweet and attentive. We told them we were leaving early and they even left some breakfast in our room the night before! They have sweet pups that are roaming and my toddler adored them, smores and happy hour nightly, great recommendations for places to go. The cabin itself is quaint and exactly the vibe we were looking for when being in Tahoe. Kitchen was decked out and we loved the booth/table to sit at.

Breakfast was great and the reception area made you feel comfortable and relaxed. Sadly didn't get to use the hot tub, or actually see a bear, although in general the property, as they say in the popular children's nursery story about bears..this one was just right!

We stayed for three nights and went skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe, and this was a solid choice for families or groups who want plenty of space, a clean and well-laid-out home, and very easy access to the ski resorts. The living area and kitchen are great for spending time together, but be aware that some basic pantry items aren’t provided despite being mentioned in the listing ( like coffee, salt etc) and the price may feel high for what’s included. Still, overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable winter base in Tahoe
