A Millionaire's playground, Miami Beach is all about sun, sea and sand. Popular as a spring break destination, its miles of pristine sands shelve gently into the turquoise Atlantic Ocean.
Lining the beach are tall palm trees and the promenade, famous for the beautiful people that go rollerblading by. Add to this a warm, subtropical climate and you can see why many celebrities have chosen to set up home in Miami Beach.
You might even spot some of them shopping in the designer boutiques along Lincoln Road. And if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, there’s still a great range of shops with more moderate prices, including Aventura Mall and CocoWalk.
The city also has its fair share of culture, including the Art Deco District, which houses the world’s largest collection of Art Deco architecture, including some of the brightly-lit Miami Beach hotels on Ocean Drive.
Comprising a series of islands just across Biscayne Bay from Miami (the route you take from Miami Airport), this city has a heavy Latin American influence, which is evident in the cuisine and fantastic nightlife. Whether you choose Miami Beach accommodations in the North Beach, Mid Beach or South Beach areas, a Cuba Libre - rum and coke - is never far away.
My experience in Miami Beach was absolutely excellent!
My experience in Miami Beach was absolutely excellent! Look, we all know the reputation South Beach Miami carries- exceptional beaches, nightlife, shopping among a few of those. Yes, it was all of those things - and although shopping isn’t one of my primary loves in life, I can see by the caliber of stores that people would really enjoy that here. Now, for beaches and nightlife this area is stellar! Fun everywhere and the beaches were some of the best I’ve ever seen! I hope to visit Miami Beach again in the future! Thanks MB!

Miami Beach is a combination of nightlife, cafes and the beautiful Caribbean. If you want to be 'in the mix' South Beach is for you. If you want to relax, just head to the sand. We stayed in an apartment. There plenty of grocery stores to supply what is needed for breakfast and snacks. And when you are ready to shop or see more of Miami, you have a 15-minute drive to the malls, the Grove or other spots.

The beach was beautiful and there were a couple of restaurants that you can walk to to have dinner. The food was great at the Tavern and it was nice that the hotel had bike rentals for free for the guests. Also, it was easy to navigate around Miami from the hotel. The only thing I did not like is paying for parking at the hotel.

HUGELY expensive, over £80 in a pub for 2 sandwiches, shared fries and 2 drinks. Nothing special or fancy. Drinks and meals out very verycostly. South Beach was quite stony until you got a way out into the water, surprisingly. Didn't visit any others as there only 2 days. Also took 2 hours to get through passport control at airport, just 2 officers. Luggage had been taken off beltby then ^ wheels broken off new luggage. Witnessed staff literally hurling luggage so that it missed belt completely skidding across floor

It was a great experience, I enjoyed the beach - took a swim most mornings. I'm not sure about public transport, but renting a car is affordable and easier to find. But should be aware that it's costly! - so many taxes. I hate that the tax is not included and applied until the completion of purchases.
Nice boutique hotel on southern end of Ocean Drive. 2 minutes walk to Ocean Drive, far enough to have quiet undisturbet nights. Super friendly and supportive staff both for hotel and restaurant.
Food in the restaurant is excellent. Pool on the roof is small but accessible at nights also, unlike the sea and other pools the pool temperature is lowered automatically. 2 Minutes to the beach, just cross Ocean Drive and you are there, 5 minutes to South Beach park with beach volleyball courts and free outdoor gyms.
The location is perfect for exploring South Beach and Miami overall. Many stores, restaurants, bars, the beach is super close.
The staff was very helpful, we were welcomed with a complementary Mojito drink which was a very nice touch.
The breakfast is very good and you can enjoy it next to the lovely pool. The wi-fi was good as well, I had to work a bit and holding video calls was not a challenge at all.
The room was clean.
The hotel has its place on the beach which was super convenient.
The hostel was great for 4 people and it had enough space to sit in the room and chat. Beds were okay. Bathroom was okay. The lobby of the hotel and garden were great for chatting. The location of the hostel was close to the beach. You can go to South Beach by walking, it will take some time to go there but the coast line is great. And the room cleaning was great. In addition there is a 7/24 open subway near the hostel so it can be helpful for long times.
The hotel was in a great location - just one road back from the main strip, and easy to use public transport or the "hop on - hop off bus ride " which starts from nearby - which means you get on, later on the ride lots of people couldnt get on as the buses were full.
There are great restaurants nearby, and you feel part of the whole south beach vibe.
Great hotel, Jeana at the front desk was super helpful and nice my entire stay, helping me book my tours and making sure things go well. Wonderful stay at the best location in Miami Beach.
