Very comfortable room (large king bed, modern bathroom, dimmable lights, silent nights). Great location (close to Arches National Park and other hiking areas). Breakfast with plenty of tasty food, although eating space could have been larger (better to go early in the morning). Free parking. Elevators to higher floors available. Very friendly staff that helped us change the room type from 2 Queen to 1 King.

Wonderful hotel, we had the largest room we ever had, very comfortable, we enjoyed the bath tube and the breakfast, we really recommend, certainly the best hotel we had during our 15 day road trip, perfect to visit Arches and Canyonsland parks.

We loved Moab!

We loved Moab! We enjoyed our Hell’s Revenge Sunset tour with High Point Hummer and ATV. Recommend the Arches Tour through Moab Adventure Company. We also booked our hot air balloon ride with Canyonlands Ballooning. Both National Parks of Canyonlands and Arches were amazing!! All of the food was great! We ate at Red Rocks Bakery and had an amazing egg salad sandwich. The Rueben at Trailhead was delicious! We also enjoyed breakfast at Jailhouse Cafe.

Lots of things to do. Great shopping and restaurants. So close to Arches and other great hiking locations. IF you have never been, you have to go at least once in your life. The colorful scenery is amazing.

Typical tourist town, many restaurants offering a wide variety of meal options. Italian, Mediterranean, Thai, Burgers, several fast food eateries. City Market was a large grocery store that stocked everything you would need, grocery wise.

Moab is surrounded by spectacular red desert, and several nature parks, the foremost being Arches National Park. It is the perfect getaway if you want to hike, rock-climb, mountain-bike, river-tube, shoot the rapids, ATV, off-road Jeep, you name it. Food downtown is great too. Accommodations are more challenging for the budget traveler, RV parks are crowded, and the city tax is very high @ 9.35%. Temperatures can run very high in the summer months, and the occasional windstorm can whip up the fine red desert dust. Moab is very rewarding if the traveler plans well in advance and bring suitable gear. It is less suitable for casual visitors unless you only want to enjoy the downtown cafes and the visitor's center at the national park.

this is a great area especially if you are into outdoor activities. It is always busy, the shopkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. The Jailhouse Cafe is a must for breakfast. As a family we try to go a couple times a year in spring and fall. Too hot in the summer. Moab Giants is fun for the kids. Canyonlands is a must, too as well as a visit to Dead Horse Point (remember the movie, Thelma and Louise)I love this place!!!!!

Be prepared to be exposed to the natural harsh climate. Be prepared with plenty of water and snacks along the way of exploring. Facilities are limited depending on what you set yourself out to do. Be mindful and smart of the landscape and wildlife around you, so your trip is fully enjoyable without mishaps. Wear adequate shoes and attire for the conditions of what you'll be doing. Bring your bikes, atvs, hiking tools, camping gear and prepare to have a great time!

The property is beautiful, clean, and just felt very high end for a Hyatt Place. I’ve stayed in several of these same hotels in other areas that look/feel nothing like this. This place is fantastic! The rooms, pool, hot tub, splash pad and grounds are extremely well kept! We stayed in a casita (family of 5) and I don’t know if I’d ever want to stay anywhere else in Moab, but here, again! 🙂 I highly, highly, recommend the casitas, if it’s in your budget.

Wow! Simply the best stay we had on our 4 weeks road trip through Utah/Arizona. Everything at this Hideout is perfect: the calm location, the views at the rim (better than every hotel in Moab Downtown), the lovely rooms, the great kitchen, the patios. On top of the most beautiful house you could live in, you get a magnificent breakfast homemade by an angel of a woman.

Ok hotel aimed at hikers and cyclists, in a good location in north end of town, close to arches. Facilities in rooms no better than average and decor very basic. Very expensive for what is basically a lodge rather than a 3 star plus hotel
