Walmart and other big stores are 10 mins away driving. Our windows looked at the backyard so we haven't heard the highway much. Definitely would come again - I regretted not booking this chain in other towns we visited.

Facilities were clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Chris, the bartender, was especially attentive, making sure we were well taken care of with drinks and food throughout our stay. The team was very accommodating to our group and made our visit both comfortable and enjoyable.

Modesto has a fine vibrant downtown.
Modesto has a fine vibrant downtown. There are people mingling and enjoying themselves. The Gallo Center is a real jewel for the city. We have enjoyed many wonderful concerts at the center. The volunteers are friendly and helpful and the sound system is fantastic.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was VERY clean and quiet. We were there for a soccer tournament and my son got plenty of rest. Breakfast had a lot of options. Will stay here again when we come back to the tournament.

Roads confusing and google maps did not work all that well for us...I finally went back to my paper maps.
We are birders and there was some good birding in the Modesto area.

They charged me twice and I thought it was straightened out...
They charged me twice and I thought it was straightened out when I checked out, but it wasn’t. It took him almost a month to get my money back on my credit card the first morning of breakfast we were told that they had two buses and everything was pretty much emptied and they weren’t gonna put anything else out they also had a charge of $11.60 per day for something they call sustainability charge which the girl told me was to clean up the outside areas well, I shouldn’t have to pay for that, but I still gotta put on my credit card. I told him I didn’t wanna pay it. They didn’t listen. I asked to speak to a manager. The girl said she’s on vacation and I said then who’s in charge and she said well I guess whoever is working the front desk we didn’t eat breakfast there the next three days of our stay because food was awful. I would never stay there again.

I lived in Modesto for 7 years. My husband and I enjoyed the relatively inexpensive lifestyle as compared to the Bay Area. Many variety of good paying jobs; beautiful country club, many neighbors safe, beautiful and clean.

Our host Noe M was extremely welcoming and we had a great chat, he accommodated all our requests and even bought in another chair into our room. The room was very well air-conditioned and the beds are extremely comfortable. There was a patio/smoking-area very close to our room which was very handy and had some seating. Don't be afraid of the sign "Liquor Store" next door. It had a full range of groceries and drinks and prepares fresh sandwiches which were delicious
