Amazingly friendly staff , I felt so welcome on arrival as I was extremely jetlagged and just wanted a safe , quiet , chill place on arrival to nurse my wounds and smell the ocean air. I got all of the above. From the outside the pictures do not do this establishment justice, it's beautiful just like the two staff that met me on arrival and their seriously super cute kids. Instantly felt at home and relaxed, the room was much bigger, cleaner and fitted out better than I expected. Would recommend for anyone from solo travelers to families who want to be striking distance to SF but without all the drama and hassle.

Perfect stay.

Perfect stay. Beautifully built recent years house and we had everything we needed provided by host. I must say, the host is real professional to make the house so beautiful and fully equipped to accommodate guests. We definitely Recommend everyone and we will be back!

I was very disappointed in the inn-it was advertised as a luxury hotel with decks or balconies from every room. Our room was supposed to have a deck with a garden view. It had no deck and a view of the parking lot next door. There was no luxury at all. The blinds were literally following off you you opened them. The bathroom was not very well cleaned. The bed however was very comfortable. For $300+ per night ,I expected a lot more.

The town looks very nice, but beside some hiking trails there isn't much to do there. If you have a car you can drive to: - SFO international airport, ~35 minutes. - Nearby towns with restaurants with reasonable prices. - Fitzgerald marine reserve, Half Moon bay.

The room was so beautiful that we wanted to stay longer.

The room was so beautiful that we wanted to stay longer. The bed was delightful and we had a quiet night's sleep. The Inn is close to beaches and nature walks. The shower was terrific, and even has a little fold-down seat. We would love to go back instead of just passing through.

Natalie greeted us upon arrival and she was very professional and friendly. The private room and shared shower and bathroom were very clean. The view from our small private room was incredulous. Listening to the sounds of waves every night and morning was comforting. The sunset and sunrise were also captivating! There is a short trail from the hostel through a beautiful garden of wild flowers to get to a private beach. which was We highly recommend this hostel for all ages! Thank you HI Point Montara Lighthouse team!

we had the most specious room under the roof The hotel feels cozy, home-like, its was clean and quite. they have a small store right by the hotel and also a nice sandwich place The staff was very nice too.
