Being a naples native it is a beautiful city, the traffic Is very heavy, prepare to leave at least 40 minutes prior to your planned time to get to your destination, and plan to leave your destination 40 minutes prior to the next destination/ hotel. Research places to go/ things to do and cost at least a year before you plan your trip, if you book anything do so at least 3 months ahead for non seasonal and at least 6 months to 1 year before the trip during the seasonal times. During seasonal months prices go up higher than non seasonal times. Plan for expected deposits in hotels (anywhere from $100-500 some refundable, some non refundable). Best hotel locations are along 41 south ( closer to the mall, beaches, and restaurants close by to 5th Ave and the pier) 5th Ave has fine dining, high end stores similar to rodeo drive in LA.

Naples is a lovely place.
Naples is a lovely place. The beach is lovely and it is a good place to explore South West Florida and the Everglades from. The restaurants are good. The parking and driving generally are pretty terrible.

An elegant city with beautiful homes, gardens, tropical colors - all maintained perfectly. Of course, favorite spots were Fifth Avenue shopping, Tin City for local flavor and canals everywhere I looked. Best meal was the fresh stone crab claws at Pinchers.

I loved the location, cleanliness, and having everything we needed within the establishment. We went downtown to 5th Street for New Year's Eve and frequented some of the restaurants there. It was Awesome. This is the 3rd year in a row going to Naples for New Year's and I plan on going again.
Lastly, we went to the Player's Club during the day and walked to Sam Sneed's at night.
LOVED IT

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It’s rundown it’s old and it certainly is not worth the money I spent. The rooms are dirty (we had to change rooms the next day so I’m saying rooms ) the kitchen had roaches and had to ask for the linen to be changed on the bed. Housekeeping never vacuumed the room mopped the floors in the kitchen and bathroom and there was mold growing on the tub areas.

This was me and my families first time ever being in Florida! My aunt is a realtor for Naples. So we had the luxury of staying in a beautiful home near Vanderbilt beach. The overall experience of Naples, exceeded my expectations! The 17 hour drive was completely worth it! It truly is a beautiful and quiet place to go!
rooms are very spacious and comfortable. the location is a little bit away from the action on 5th Avenue but only a 10-15 minute walk away so it’s nice and quiet. the club facilities are excellent- lovely pools, great gym and tennis courts. we had been here before and will certainly come back again.
I notice that a huge bit of land opposite Naples bay is levelled and marked for construction- accommodation, shops and dining. will make the property even better when completed with all that just nearby.
The motel is super clean and well taken care off. I really enjoyed the "off the grid" feel which is characteristic of big chain hotels. The Naples Garden Inn has a lot of character and a family-owned feel. Lots of pride in ownership there. It's beautifully situated, close to the beach and restaurants, only about 25 minutes to Marco Island. If you are an easy going person who doesn't have to be catered to (as it would be in a large hotel) and if you like some peace and quiet, you will like this place.
We absolutely loved our time here. The hotel is clean with a lovely pool. The rooms are clean as well and have everything needed-the small kitchen area was great to have, especially the full size fridge and the microwave. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms impeccable. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. Location wise it’s great to get to the beaches (you will need a car), the Everglades and local amenities. We’d definitely recommend it to family and friends.
The facilities are really good, and the view from the rooms is amazing! The breakfast buffet is really good and diverse, and the staff is very friendly! The hotel is very pet friendly, and they were extremely accommodating with my ADA service dog. The beach is so beautiful, and the rooms are very big! The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The restaurants have good food and the prices are affordable.
Friendly Staff and Cleanliness. The staff are very welcoming and make your stay a true delight. The rooms are spotlessly clean. You are definitely going to stay in a hotel where clean goes the extra thousand miles. There are tropically lush gardens throughout the property that make it so cozy, relaxing, and tranquil. Location is excellent! This hotel is an all time gem! We stay here every time we visit Naples! This is hone away from home.
The location of the hotel was great and I liked that the hotel had only 3 floors. Our room was quiet, clean and ready well before check in time.
We ate breakfast at the restaurant twice and and both times the food was awesome, especially the omelette!
We used the swimming pool on the first day and it was refreshing on a hot day!
We visited the Naples Botanical Garden and spent about 2-1/2 hours there walking around the trails.
We had a great time here! The staff was very friendly . The jacuzzi was great and there was always plenty of seating around the pool.
The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The room and the smell from the corridors was spectacular. The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. When we return to Naples we will surely stay here again. We highly recommend it.
Daytime staff was amazing. Had a few challenges with the evening team, but nothing terrible. The evening desk guy seemed preoccupied and not overly helpful. The overnight LATE guy was extremely helpful!
The hotel was AMAZING with a great location. Originally booked Naples Grand but SOOOO thankful we switched last minute!
We will be BACK!
The pool was a grand slam for my child! The staff from the hotel as well as the bar/grill was really nice and helpful. The location of the property was close to the beaches (a couple blocks away from the closest one.). The price for the hotel was well worth it and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Naples!
best location close to downtown Naples
by the canals - we saw dolphins and manatees swimming by
the heated pool open till 10 pm
staff at the bar / pool / restaurant so friendly & helpful
beautiful design interiors and spacious rooms
good choice of food for breakfast
The location on the beach was my favorite part! I could open my windows and hear the ocean at night. Generous room space. Nice pools. You are welcome to stay on the property after checkout and use a locker room to freshen up before you leave. Perfect for my plans!
Friendly reception, very welcoming. Swimming pool, good facilities, good breakfast, good wifi. Ideal for beachtrips, everglades, naples and cape coral/Sanibel Island. In house laundry facilities were great. Kitchenette was good, with big fridge.
Room is very spacious which was great. Nice sized fridge. Lovely area to sit outside and eat(although obviously because beside a busy road it's not quiet).
Nice easy walk into Naples 5th Ave and to the beach.
Would def stay again.
Absolutely a hidden gem. We loved this hotel.
Great room with a special 'thing'. There were lots of details that made this hotel exceptional like e.g. beach towels or cooled water bottles. List would be long.
really nice and clean place, very close to the historic center of Naples. very comfortable, the staff was really nice, good breakfast, pet friendly with grass in front of the hotel to walk the dogs.
The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to the beach or pier or Old Naples. There is a Wynn's grocery store across the street as well as other eateries which makes walking preferred!
