We got a room close to lobby and got to park out front where we felt safe about our car at night. The room had nice wood floors. It was way nicer than most motels with the typical dirty grungy carpet.

We asked to change from the suite to a second floor room as the first floor rooms had a horrible scent. They honored our request and were very accommodating. We at at Captain Jake's Seafood - 10 min away - it was delicious. We also ate at Hudson Taco which was also a great choice-

Lived near New Windsor for over 30 years so coming back was...
Lived near New Windsor for over 30 years so coming back was enjoyable. Lots of history, especially Revolutionary War history in the area. The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is impressive and a great reminder of the sacrifice of our service men and women. West Point is another great place to visit. If you like history this is a great place.

The hotel was nice and very clean which is excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was cramped together but was no problem for us. We did have to wait until 3:15pm to get our room but we waited in the comfortable lobby. The breakfast was good especially the Belgian waffles. I like hard boiled eggs but I was hoping for scambled eggs. Would have liked to have some meat with my eggs. Otherwise, there was a variety to chose from. Love the view of the lake!

We enjoyed our stay .The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly except the early morning older guy. The breakfast was not the best . There were no microwave in the room! We had to go in the hall way area to use the microwave where there were some unsavory characters. Otherwise all was well.
