I went to O'Fallon--Shiloh actually--for a family reunion picnic. It was delightful. I should have gone home right after it was over, like my sister from Indiana did. But getting back to Colorado takes more planning.

Downtown O’Fallon on a Thursday night (night we went) was...
Downtown O’Fallon on a Thursday night (night we went) was nice. After driving in from Texas, we wanted a pub we could relax in. There are quite a few places to choose from, but we went to 1st Street Bar & Grill. We sat outside, had cocktails and dinner. The food and service were very good and sitting outside was relaxing. We will go back to 1st Street Bar & Grill on our next trip!

My grandmother lives in the O'Fallon Shiloh area.
My grandmother lives in the O'Fallon Shiloh area. Great shopping and restaurants. About 30 minutes from St. Louis. O'Fallon is a great place to stay if you like a smaller, safe town type setting at night but want to visit the big city attractions like the St. Louis zoo and museums during the day.

Like I stated they got me with a $100 incidental fee showing...
Like I stated they got me with a $100 incidental fee showing me they don’t trust their customers. Blankets are this as a piece of paper. Curtains don’t close so the flood lights are blaring in your room and face. Pool was closed even though that was the whole point we chose this hotel. Even after all this, they never cared to help make things right or talk to me about any of these issues. Will never go back.

This was a nice Super 8.
This was a nice Super 8. I realized after leaving that I had forgotten some earrings. I called the next day and they found them and kept them at the front desk for several days. When I returned from our trip the earrings were there. Very nice staff!

O'Fallon is a growing small city with a mixture of old,...
O'Fallon is a growing small city with a mixture of old, charming churches and buildings to new businesses and hotels. I always love my stay here. Everything is close by, the 50 freeway runs right through it, and the new restaurants popping up are refreshing and fun to visit. My sons attended McKendree University so I would always plan my stay in O'Fallon since it's so close and has lots of known stores and tasty places to eat.

Hotel was calming when you entered. Staff was presentable at the front desk and welcoming. The kitchen and dining area was kept neat and organized. Food was fresh! The room had no stains, no unpleasant odor, no chipping on the walls, and very comfortable. I have no complaints. Also kid friendly. Photos of the hotel are an understatement.

Nothing. It was terrible. The shower was moldy, the linens were stained (I hope they had been washed), the screen was broken, the facade of the hotel was literally falling off, the entire place was absolutely filthy. There were food droppings all over the surfaces of the desk in my room….

Everyone was super nice! Loved the drinks at kickback. Beds were comfy. Hotel is clean. Plenty of luggage carts. Check in/out was seamless. Pool guy was super nice!
