ChinaIt was a good stay, the manger at the inn was super nice and I had great experience with him. I left a pair of shoes after check out, and found out the next day, called him, the manager drove for more than 1 hour to send it to me in person. My tear almost drop for what he has done, so thankful.

I like the beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants...
I like the beach and all the shops, bars and restaurants around plus the pier. You can take the metro link right to oceanside it lets you off right across the street from the beach and parking is only 5 dollars for the whole day. Plus there is little play grounds if you have small children.

Was stationed on Camp Pendleton.
Was stationed on Camp Pendleton. Lived in Vista, Loved it way back when. Retired to Indiana. Try to come back always. But, now, Too expensive, Locations to stay are ridiculous. This just became a one in a few years to visit place. Not a decent restaurant to say I'd be back. Love the beach, miss the old Pier and restaurant at the e3nd of the pier. Love the beach, many memories on that beach.

This is our first visit to Oceanside.
This is our first visit to Oceanside. We participated in the Albion Cup soccer tournament played at the SoCal sports facilities. The parking and cost was disappointing, but once inside, we were pleased with all that was in place for guests, including rented chairs for the day,(thanks).
Oceanside is a such a beautiful place to visit and the weather was absolutely perfect while we were there. We also went to Oceanside Pier and had a magical time on the beach, enjoyed a stunning sunset, along with all that was a part of the unique downtown atmosphere. It is a place that we will definately return to visit!

Great city for walking around checking out stores and...
Great city for walking around checking out stores and restaurants. The beach was not crowded and my son's children played in the water, made sand castles, tried riding the skim board. They also all bought skateboards and rode them around the sidewalks and by the auditorium area. Good restaurants and the roof top bar was beautiful at sunset.

There was a lot to do there if you have a car to go places...
There was a lot to do there if you have a car to go places and it's easy to get a taxi. So you can see so much it was beautiful. I went there for special purpose and it was fulfill, I hate I had us to leave, but Reality strike, gotta come back home.Anyway, it's beautiful.Just be careful of when you put the hotel where your book.

Booked here last minute on Booking.com as we were looking for a few days away, it was a 30 minute walk from the centre of Oceanside but it did the job nicely, the pool was great after a hot day out walking but the jacuzzi at the pool was way too hot for us. Breakfast was included and was pretty good.

The hotel had a camp ground feel that, but for the location, was more like clamping. The room had a Carmel feel, and was clean and renovated very well. Rating of 9+ was appropriate for the room. With a better location, it would have been a 10.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location with the seafront, transport centre and numerous eateries all within easy walking distance. Spotlessly clean and the pool and hot tub were a good bonus.
