United StatesIt is a “feast for the eyes”, beautifully restored art deco building with tasteful but comfortable appointments. The rooms are nice but lacking pleasant views. The bedding and linens were all quality as were toiletries. And the attentiveness of the staff was five star. Any issues we had were promptly addressed and courtesy follow up given. All staff we encountered were upbeat, pleasant and actually helpful.
We had gathered from various locales to celebrate the 100th birthday of a family member. And while the celebration was held at another location, we had numerous excellent meals at Teller’s restaurant and, the staff always cheerfully and expertly seated and served our large party.
The only general complaint among our group was the temperature in the hotel and restaurants was unpleasantly cold.

United StatesWe stayed in a two-room suite, which are spacious and comfortable. I noted two zone thermostats, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. If you travel with someone else that has different temp preferences like I do, this is an extra luxury.
The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. We ordered room service and took advantage of the free breakfast. In a Ubik-like microtransaction and late stage capitalist society, I expect the optionals and nice-to-haves to have either disappeared or added as an upcharge.
The buffet breakfast has many options, both hot and cold. I didn't really see any European-style breakfast options which is a bummer because I like making a breakfast charcuterie and pretending I'm not in Oklahoma.
Our room service order was hot, fresh, and tasty. We ordered a mushroom swiss burger and chicken fried steak. As Oklahomans we have weirdly opinionated feelings about both, but my only complaint is that I need enough gravy to drown a toddler in and I wish there was a way to anticipate the graviness level of an item when you order.
Let's compare this for fun to Home2 Suites. Home2 Suites, at least the locations I've stayed in, is like a killer clown went to Fisher Price prison design school and was given their first student project with free range. I'm ASD/ADHD blessed and Home2 Suites is like sensory hell. I'd like to request all Home2 Suites be razed to the ground and replaced with Embassy Suites. I'm neutral on the matter, but I was trapped in one in the same bed as my mom for 5 days while I was quarantined with COVID. I was too sick to do much other than stare at the wall and listen to my mom fart, but I did imagine all the ways I would demo the room. Embassy Suites has a relaxing color palette.
Not sure whether to thank hospitality or Paris Hilton, but either way we enjoyed and appreciated our stay.

This is my second trip to Oklahoma City for the All American...
This is my second trip to Oklahoma City for the All American Games. I love the ease of Bricktown area for families to walk, ride scooters or take the boat taxi for a tour. The Streetcar was free while we were there and it has a drop off location right at the site of the Oklahoma City Bombing. That was such a humbling experience. To walk the site and see the remains of the building and the monuments to those that were killed will stay with me forever.
Love the ease of traversing the surrounding areas, well marked and easy access to the interstates.

Oklahoma City is a surprisingly interesting and entertaining place to visit. There are great places to shop, eat, sightsee, and be entertained. The city has a diverse culture, and that alone is worth experiencing. Even lifelong Okies can find new things to enjoy. Oklahoma City has much more to offer than most people think it does.

We loved the OKC zoo.
We loved the OKC zoo. Check the website before you go to check open times. Go right when it opens. All the animals even in the summer weather were happy first thing in the morning. Science museum is good, great for kids ages 4-10 years old. Eat at The Mule. Both locations are good. We also liked Ted’s mexican food. The bone museum is worth the drive south out of town. It’s a great place to spend an hour or so.

The room was semi-clean.
The room was semi-clean. It had a nice sliding door to a balcony and there was a comfy recliner chair. My wife slept in that because the bed wasn't comfortable to her but I thought it was fine. The sink tap leaked constantly but it wasn't a drip, it was a steady stream so it didn't keep you awake. There was a nice outdoor pool with some friendly fellows out there. The staff was tired but helpful. A cigarette butt on the stairs (no elevator) and smelled of cigarette smoke though we had a non-smoking room.

We enjoyed the National Cowboy Museum, and the Oklahoma City Memorial downtown. We accidentally ran across the National Reining Horse Association Derby at OKC fairgrounds and enjoyed an afternoon watching the competition. Our favorite restaurantes were Cattlemens at the Stockyards and breakfast at Sunnyside Diner was fantastic

Property was very clean and comfortable. Lovely bathroom, spacious shower too. We've stayed in some awful places along our roadtrip so this hotel was very enjoyable.
