United StatesWe got a great weekend so we decided to take a ride to the beach. We stayed at the Waves Gull property it was excellent. Service was very good and the location was great, steps from the beach. The balcony had a view of the ocean. The room had a small kitchenette with everything you could need. A fridge with separate freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, even a little stove with real dishes, glasses, cups, etcetera! It was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, lots of room, a little table with chairs, dresser, flat screen TV and more. Would recommend. Pool was very nice as well. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in OOB!

We have been coming to OOB for 30 years - we enjoy the Columbus Day Weekend the most. Unfortunately, most of the stores and restaurants in town are closed by then but it is less crowded than the Summer.

This is a nice older beach location.
This is a nice older beach location. During the beach season it is probably very busy. We arrived at the end of the season so many businesses were closed or closing. The beach is nice for walking, watching the sunset, shopping and dining out in the season. There were arcades and amusement rides for children, but these were closed when we came. We ate at Lisa’s Pizza, Dsiry Queen and Lazy Jack’s restaurant, all were really good and service was good as well. We walked most places, this beach is very walkable.

Everything is right at your fingertips.
Everything is right at your fingertips. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. It is a very family friendly beach town. There is no shortage of places to.eat or explore. Everything is within walking distance. Fireworks every week (Thursdays) make for a great addition to your vacation. The beach is beautiful.

The small town off the water was cute and had great shopping options. My one grip was the food options, too many restaurants used the same options and very little diversity. The candy store was so much fun a sense of nostalgia with so many options. Pizza staples were great and fireworks were a super nice touch to the warm evenings.

Love Old Orchard Beach. Hadn't been back for 20 years. Our visit was in the off-season, so I knew there would be very few activities in town. Our trip was very relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted.

Being right on the beach was wonderful.
Being right on the beach was wonderful. Nearby restaurants were plentiful and some were within walking distance. We were away from the hustle and bustle of the town and the pier which was good. We were also off season which made it a quiet experience compared to mid summer I'm sure. In addition, Joseph's by The Sea was a fantastic waterfront dining experience and only a 3 minute drive away..

The hotel is right by the sea, so it's perfect for long walks on the beach without having to drive for ages. Watching the sunrise either from the veranda or from the beach was an absolute highlight. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need, especially housekeeping. There is complimentary coffee/tea at the front office in the mornings since they do not serve any breakfast. But there are plenty of choices withing a 3 mile radius.

The owners of Seagrass Inn were exceptionally nice. Did all they could to accommodate us. The hotel was clean, tidy and suited our purpose of a one night stay. It's location wasn't the best BUT you cannot change a/it's location which was adjacent to the rail line which I did not know prior to booking. Having said that the beach is immediately across the road which was fab

Really cute place and the owners are adorable, very friendly, helpful. Don't expect it to be a fancy sterile hotel room, it's just a fun little shack near the beach. I went with my kid and we really loved having our own tiny house for the week.

Lovely old wooden Hotel. Great location next to the beach. Charming and spacious reception rooms on ground floor. Choice of swimming pools. Friendly staff and walking distance to variety of food outlets.
