Downtown was interesting as were a few places to visit a short drive away. We didn’t get a chance to explore to a great extent all the places, but did enough in a couple days to satisfy us and give us a sense of what there is to do. Definitely hit the mini golf place and Durham museum. Walk around and explore the shops. Definitely hit the candy store with two rooms filled with pinball and old video games.

The people of Nebraska are wonderful.

The people of Nebraska are wonderful. Haven’t had a ton of good experiences with the people of Iowa. Omaha is more like Iowa than Nebraska. The zoo is absolutely all it’s cracked up to be, but get in, do your business there, and get out without touching anything else if you can. Speaking of which, be careful getting in and out of Omaha. There is zero traffic enforcement in that city and people drive like they know it.

We had very limited time for tourist activities, but one was a highlight - the beautiful (especially at night) bridge over the Missouri River that "connects" Nebraska & Iowa. We ate at Piezons Pizzeria and Roma Italian Restaurant and both had excellent food and were a good value.

Our hotel and the friends' home we visited were both on the north & west side of Omaha. We have travelled to Omaha for years as native Nebraskans, and currently live in a smaller city in the state. The city traffic is always overwhelming for us, and construction is happening somewhere each time we visit. But, the city hosts some things simply not found anywhere else in the state. It's nice to visit for a change of scenery, but always good to be back home. People are friendly, and there's always some new little nugget of discovery to be found in the way of shops, entertainment, and public spaces.

Great time at the Magnolia. The entire staff couldn't be nicer! They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and will also take you to local attractions such as the zoo and Durham museum. Just ask at the front desk. Courtney at the bar was fantastic and one night we arrived as she was finishing up and she stayed and took care of us. She also waited on us the next night at our dinner table and did the same. Funny and personable. Stop and see her.

We flew in for one night to see a concert. This hotel's location was perfect! Literally, right across the street from CHI Health Center Omaha. The staff was really nice, the room was great, and the airport shuttle was a nice bonus (I didn't know it was available when I booked our stay). The food and drinks were great, and I appreciated the added hotel monitoring at the elevator after the event to ensue only hotel guests went up to the rooms.

Loved the architecture and decor… combining the old brick with Mid Century Modern is well done and makes for a beautiful hotel. Their bar should be open in November and their restaurant in December, but they provide a shuttle to take you to dinner and pick you up so it was very nice and they offered cocktails as we were checking in. Downtown Omaha is beautiful and the new park is active and wonderful.

Our family loved the size of the rooms and how clean the hotel was. We came to town for a dance comp so it was nice to go back to a hotel that was quite and a room with soft beds to relax after a busy day. The location was great, a quick drive to downtown and the zoo, close to shopping, restaurants, and even a grocery store and gas station just down the road from the hotel.

It was the perfect location for our visit to Omaha for a concert. We were able to Wali to the arena in under 10 minutes. The room was huge and well equipped. I do understand a previous reviewer who complained of the microwave and thermostat brightness, but I brought a sleeping mask, so I wasn't bothered. We thought the hotel was an excellent value for the money.

..but I slept really good. The beds are probably the best I’ve slept on in a hotel. They have that same Marriott feel as the rest in the chain but these seemed a little softer. The rooms are really cool and modern compared to anywhere else I’ve stayed and so is the lobby/bar area. Definitely a good choice if coming to Omaha.

Great price and location. Hotel is about a 5 minute ride to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. I think I booked it because it was the cheapest option with shuttle service to the airport. For the price you can't beat it. Will definitely stay here again next time I am flying out of omaha.
