This Omak, Washington motel offers fitness center and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Omak Airport is 10 minutes’ drive away. As I was bringing my travel items in from my car, I was unexpectedly greeted by an employee that not only offered to help, but carried my heaviest item up the required stairway to my room with a smile and offer to be of further assistance. My room was exactly fitted for a professional person on the move. AND, the mattress was not overly worn with depressions or uneven surfaces!
Free Wi-Fi is provided in all guest rooms at this pet-friendly motel in Okanogan. Okanogan County Fairgrounds is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. Dispute the fact that it was more of a “cheap motel” it was great. It’s what we were needing at the moment. The staff was amazing ( not so much morning people lol) the price was perfect and he works with his costumers if needed. The place is more of a family place I noticed. Were all are friendly and the children all play together outside loved seeing the brother/sisterly love for each other and was welcomed graciously.
Quality Inn & Suites® in Okanogan provides affordable comfort just moments from the 12 Tribes Resort, and close to fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and just about any outdoor activity that suits your... every thing was great, except the toilet tank ran all nite
Located on the banks of the Twisp River, just 15 miles from the North Cascades National Park, guests at the Twisp River Suites can enjoy a furnished communal terrace overlooking the river. Everything about it was comfortable. Little extras like flashlights and reading glasses made you feel that the host had anticipated every possible need. Located along the gently flowing Twisp River (appropriate name for the hotel) there was a private balcony with a swing and chairs and a screen to keep all bugs outside. But the relaxing sound of the babbling river was the best thing about the balcony. Tempted to sleep out there. And then there is Joe, the owner. Nicest, most considerate man you'd hope to meet.
Did not stay there, truck broke down in Canada. Had to cancel, they were very understanding and I was thankful they did it. Did pass by and it appears to be a lovely clean location. Close to May locations and easy access to the road.
I was simply passing through from Ferry County to King County. I was driven two hours from Ferry County to Omak to stay at a motel the night before the 6 am Apple Line bus (only bus that leaves Omak per day). I walked to the travel plaza before the sun came up, not enough street lights or sidewalk, and the bus driver never came. The attendant inside the gas station of the travel plaza didn't have any information, and the bus company never answered the phone (and didn't answer until four days later). The other local transit out of Omak only runs once per month. There was no taxi company operating in town, and Uber and Lyft drivers wouldn't pick up my (extremely expensive) request to get to my connecting bus. I'm sure Omak is a lovely place to live, but travelers without a car shouldn't risk getting stranded.
The staff was friendly ,the. Floors were very dirty in our room and the hallway and the entrance .im not very picky but that did bother me. As far as the bed and bathroom they were clean and comfortable. This is a older place so don't expect too much .and some things are upgraded and some are not.But we would stay again if. We were in omak.
Quaint, quiet central Washington town. Indian Casino, Rodeo in August, scenery, interesting geology. Easy to get around town, decent shopping (Walmart, Safeway, JC Penny's, Grocery Outlet) and a variety of food (fast food, recommend the Breadline Cafe and Hometown Pizza). Small town vibe with the accompanying small rural town economic challenges. Visited the County museum in neighboring Okanagan, good hour to spend learning local history & meeting friendly locals.
The town had a lot of amenities and things to see and do. We were at a convention at the Okanogan Fair Grounds so didn't get to see a lot of the sights but when we did "explore" the people were friendly and seemed to like living there. It was very easy getting around and finding anything I needed.
A friendly little town with lots of outdoor activities available. I saw multiple vehicles with boats, canoes or kayaks. Weather was fantastic. Good restaurant choices. This was my first visit and I will go back. Roadhouse 97 was fun and a great meal. The rodeo arena is fantastic.
The bed was very comfortable. Excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. I did not have breakfast there but it appeared to have all the usual foods in a hotel breakfast. The coffee maker in the room did not work but they had good coffee in the breakfast room. Also I was quite pleased that they let me park my motorcycle up front under the awning. 👍
Only hotel in town
